After saving many lives in both Spirit and Human World, the group is now attending to solemn funeral at the temple for the old psychic Genkai. During the last talk with Yusuke through his spirit beast, it was said that it was her final call before passing away.
"Where should I put my flowers?" Kuwabara asked Kurama who was arranging them by the grave stone,
"Hmm... Over on that side." Kurama said as Kuwabara placed his burial flowers next to the others,
"You know where you're going to college, Keiko?" Kuwabara asked the brunette who was cleaning the grave stone.
"Yes." Keiko answered, "I'm entering Yotsuya U's teaching program."
"A teacher huh..." Kuwabara thought out loud and grinned, "You won't be able to do your famous 'Super-Slap' though."
"I don't have a super slap!" Keiko said in embarrassment,
"Sure you don't." Ranumi said with sarcasm as she walked towards them with her niece in her arms.
"How come you're not going to college Kurama?" Kuwabara asked the fox demon,
"Working for my father's company seemed more interesting." Kurama said as they finished cleaning and arranging the flowers by the grave. "There. Everything is nice and cleaned up."
"The bastard's late, though." Kuwabara turned grumbled in annoyance, seeing everyone, but Hiei, present in the temple grounds,

"Quit dragging your feet, you bum!" Kuwabara scolded him,
"What's up!" Yusuke greeted them with a wave of his hand,

Kaida poof her cheeks at him before noticing her mother coming out of the temple doors with her brother by her side.

"Mama!" Kaida called out to her, reaching her arms towards her. Hayami smiled and walked out, reaching for her daughter as she immediately wrapped her arms around her neck. "Dada?" She asked,
"You're father's just in the area, sweetheart." Hayami said to her with a kiss on the forehead, making her little girl giggle. "He'll come, don't worry." She said as she walked back in with Kuraokami following his mother.
"They're just so cute." Ranumi cooed with a hand to her cheek as Kurama stood next to her.
"Yes." The fox demon said and looked at his girlfriend, "We should head inside as well, my water lily."
Ranumi looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah." She said as they both went inside.
