Hayami' POV

I was sitting down on the ground having my back leaned against a part of the broken ring, while Hiei is hibernating with his back against my chest as my arms are wrapped around his torso.

My hair was back to normal in matter of minutes, though I'm still pretty much weak at the moment. Not to mention that my wound still hurts. I was able to wrap Hiei's right arm in bandages again, since I do feel his energy slowly returning and I also covered his jagan eye.

Kurama was also sitting on the ground wounding his wounds as we recover. We're pretty much beat up at the moment.

"I gotta hand it to him. If Hiei said he's serious, he really lets you know. Not to mention Hayami's own energy punching a role to the roof literally." Yusuke said as he looked at the amount of destruction was caused in the stadium,

"With this technique mastered his power is overwhelming indeed. We'll have to stay on his good side." Kurama said agreeing,

"Hell he didn't even say how long he'll hibernate. Maybe we're all dead when he wakes up and it won't be an issue." Yusuke said looking at Hiei before at me, "Hayami, do you know how long?"

I looked down at my mate as I listened to his soft breathing. "From the looks of things. I'd say a few hours, though I'm not sure exactly." I said before looking back at the detective,

"That's a cheery way to think, Yusuke. I can tell you'd dealt with all your problems." Koenma said looking at the sleeping fire demon,

"Yeah anyway, what are they gonna do with the ring? Looks like a graveyard." Yusuke said looking at the broken ring,

Kuwabara went near him and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Geez, why are you upset? The ring is not your problem. All we gotta do is to think about smashing those Toguros and getting things back to normal." He said, reassuring the detective until he looked at the elder Toguro who was giving him a sinister glare, causing Kuwabara to shake a little and sweat.

"Look, he's pulling some weird intimidation. What a joke." Yusuke said,

"Yeah, can you believe how silly he is?!" Kuwabara said, shaking off the scaredyhness in his body, "I mean what guys would get scared by some terrifying red eye. I'm gonna beat him so fast." He said,

'It's obvious that he's scared him. My only worries is how is he going to fight him.' I thought as I looked at my teammate in concern.

"I just received words that we will have a long intermission until the replacement ring is brought in. Feel free to move around the stadium that still exist and of course as always don't forget the snack bars." Koto announced as some demons in the crowd got up from their seats.

I sighed and just ruffled a bit of Hiei's hair. I really found it adorable to see him sleeping peacefully. I suddenly heard a familiar ogre's voice and looked to see Koenma's personal assistant rapping beside the former referee.

"This conversation is wearing me down. I'm gonna go to the locker to relax." Kuwabara said casually, "Gotta get into my fighting groove." He then started to walk away,

I sensed an dangerous presence and I already know who it is. "Tell them why you're really leaving." Elder Toguro said making Kuwabara turned around, "You're frightened because you've realized that you're about to die."

"Hey! You've got not business over here!" Kuwabara said to him as my hold on Hiei tightened securely.

"You have improved your strength remarkably over the last few months, Kuwabara, but there is still an abyss separating you and I." Elder Toguro said, "So save your appropriate prayers, because I don't like painless endings. Lucky for you, you're execution has been postponed. Why don't you go enjoy your life for a while. You don't want to have some sickly regrets." He chuckled before looking at me with a creepy grin, "As for you my dear, you should probably do the same once we win this tournament. Don't wanna end up like your pathetic mother, now do you?" He chuckled again before leaving,
