Yusuke vs. Toguro pt. 1

Third POV

"Greetings everyone from the heart of the dark tournament, where the moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived. Toguro vs Urameshi, Will the reigning champions steal another victory or will this year's favored guest team will pull the upsets of the century and walk away with the prize? There is two points and one championship on the line." Koto said as the suspense in the stadium grew.

Yusuke took cautious steps as he watched Toguro carefully. Toguro unbuttoned his green coat and just threw it to the side.

"Urameshi, don't be intimidated by that steroid half naked freak." Kuwabara told his friend,

'You must concentrate.' Hiei thought to Yusuke as he held Hayami securely,

'I have faith in you.' Kurama thought as he held Ranumi's held a bit tight,

'Don't blow this one, Yusuke.' Koenma thought, getting worried,

'Be careful, Yusuke. Win this for her.' Hayami thought,

"This time is for real." Juri said, standing in between the two team captains, "Are you guys ready?" She asked both men as they continued to glare at each other, "Okay then, BEGIN!!!" She announced as the crowd began to scream now that the fight has finally begun,

"Well done, Yusuke. At last the two of us fight again." Toguro said to the detective, "Only this time, things will be different for you. I'm not throwing this fight for anyone."

"Good. Because now for me... it's personal." Yusuke said as he saw Toguro raising his hands,

"You don't think this is personal for me too?!" He said as he balled his hands into a fist, "I'll start with 80 percent!" And with that said, he groan loudly as his muscles began to increase along with some thick veins popping up from the increase.

Not only that, his strong demon energy started to waver around the stadium as most demons in the crowd started to get killed in an instant.

'Good thing Hayami warned me about his energy before this.' Yusuke thought as he took a cautious step back,

"His demon energy is melting away the flesh of the weaker apparitions." Hiei said as he took notice of the demons dying in the crowd,

"They're not the only ones. I can't take more in my present state." Kurama pointed out as he held his wound on his left shoulder, while Ranumi supported his weight,

"I second that." Hayami said as she struggles to stand up straight. Hiei held her form closer to his body, keeping his mate from falling on her knees,

Kuwabara stepped back and groaned a little. "Not..a problem. I can handle it." He said confidently but completely lying as his body tells them,

"Actually, no you can't, Kuwabara." Koenma said,

"That's my cue. Everyone stand back." Ranumi said as she raised her hand, water surrounding them as it turned into her barrier.

Little by little, the healing effects started to happen as the three injured fighters started to stand up straight again. Well Hayami is still in Hiei's arms while Kurama was being supported by Ranumi.

"You were right about the healing part on her barrier." Toya said,

"I hope it doesn't give out." Koenma said,

Lala started to fly from Hayami's shoulders and flew next to Ranumi. Right then the white dragon's whole body glowed as it created a second layer of a barrier of it's own.

"Looks like your request has been granted." Rinku said as he sat on Chu's shoulder,

Ryuji was about to create a barrier of his own to protect the girls and Yukina noticed this as well. But when he was about to create his, he looked at the blue bird to see that it beat him to it.
