Hayami's POV
When we arrived back to the hotel, it started raining. Natural rain, not emotional rain. Me and Hiei sat on the windowsill with me in between his legs while my back is against his. Ranumi went to girls having Lala in her arms like a stuffed animal. While father, Kurama and Kuwabara played some cards.
I looked at Hiei's reflection on the mirror to see that was already starring at me. I looked away, having my thoughts get occupied on how Yusuke's final test is gonna be.
'You're worried about Yusuke, aren't you Onna?'
'What gave it a away?'
'The look on your face just now, especially when Genki told said its his final test. How hard can that test even be?'
'You could say it's similar in a way to how my mother passed all her powers to me'
Hiei's expression went a little shock, but gestured me to continue.
'Genki's final test to Yusuke will be one of the most painful one he's done. I just hope that Genki's powers won't eat his life away as he does this. It could kill him.'
Hiei's arm pulled me into an embrace in comfort, which helped me ease a little and I appreciate his gesture.
'I'm sure he'll be fine, Onna. You know he survived a near death before.'
'True, but this is different.'
Hiei 'Hn' in understanding as we continued to watch the rain pour down onto the island.
"So Urameshi and Genki have sure been gone for a long time." Kuwabara said, looking at the rain pouring outside and ignoring the fact that me and Hiei are sitting on the windowsill.
It is true, seeing that we left the stadium about late morning and it has been hours since we last saw them. Right now, it's about to go dark. Not just by the dark rain clouds, but by how the sky is starting to dim.
"Indeed." Kurama agreed,
"Yusuke's test will take some time, but I couldn't tell how long it be until it's done." Father said as he took a card from Kurama's before placing on the table, "That's all I could say."
"So what do you guys think of our chances? Two more rounds and we get to go home." Kuwabara asked and said as Kurama took a card from his hand,
"Well these are the semifinals." I said looking at him, "It's gonna be a challenge depending on how strong are our opponents are."
"Yes, we will be moved to a new stadium with an even more wilder crowd." Kurama said as he placed his cards on the table, "I'm sure the committee will do anything to try and get rid of us."
"That doesn't bother me." Kuwabara said as he took a card from father's hand, "Bring on the guns and the arrows, it's nothing I'm afraid off." He looked at his card and a face of defeat,
"Let me guess, you got the joker." I said smirking at him,
"Yeah, how did you know?" He asked,
"I didn't have to look at the card, your face tells me otherwise." I said, making father and Kurama chuckle while I felt Hiei smirked,
