Third POV

"DIMWIT!!!" Genkai yelled to her successor who just got back from the arcade, was thrown back outside of the door of his own apartment home,

"What the hell is your problem old lady?!" Yusuke asked angrily as he rubbed his head,

"NGH!!! I thought you were leaving the group to look after Kuwabara!" She said angrily as Botan and Wakumi came beside her from the doorway,

"I said I was going to the arcade, miss senile!" He said to his mentor,

"How old are you? Kuwabara can't use his powers right now and killers are stalking us." Genkai pointed out as she huffily crossed her arms, "Air go, you choose to play pinball."

"It's his fault! He shouldn't left me hanging for som stupid pop band!" Yusuke said crossing his arms as he was still on the floor, "Besides, he's lost all his juice like you said and water girl is already watching him. Why would those guys waste their time on a non-fighter?"

"He hasn't lost it, it just hasn't awakened yet." Wakumi said to the detective in which caught him off guard, "Yusuke, notice your friend's energy next time you see him. It's like a hatching egg. There is a perfectly good reason why his power has been gone since the dark tournament ended."

"Kuwabara is gifted with unparalleled spirit awareness. I believe his body sensed the coming danger months ago and began a transformation to prepare for it, without him consciously knowing." Genkai explained softly to her successor, trying to make him understand the situation on his friend, "What I fear is that if the enemy realized this, he won't be their last target then. He will be their first."

A thunder sound was loudly heard as Yusuke finally understood. His eyes widen in realization that his own friends life would be endangered.

"Well thanks for telling me so soon!" Yusuke said as began running off to find Kuwabara,

"Botan dear, go with him." Wakumi said to the grim reaper who nodded as she followed the detective. "I just hope that Kuwabara and Hayami would be alright once they find them."

"You know your girl, Wakumi." Genkai said to her as the mother looked down at her in worry, "Hayami is strong and knows her sense of right and wrong when it comes to both humans and demons. After all you thought her those things. She'll be just fine." She reassured her,

"Let's hope." Wakumi said as starred at the rain coming in,

Back with the water fight. Mitari still had Kuwabara's friends as hostage with the water monster of the Seaman's creation. Kuwabara was holding his aching chest and pants heavily as he stood while Hayami stood in front of him.

"I'm gonna get you...you know that." Kuwabara said as thunder and lightning appeared from the rainy weather,

"Why aren't you two trying to run? If you try to save your friends you'll die." Mitari pointed out as his eyes showed confusion and fear as he stared them both,

"You can't bury honor." Hayami said, making Seaman lightly took a step back upon seeing the determination look on her face.

"Hey don't worry about us, we know there's no chance to save us." Miyamoto said, having a pained smile as he looked at Kuwabara, "Just go, one of us should live on, right."

"We've been best friends since our first street brawl. Whether it's living or dying, we're doing it together." Kuwabara said,

"You can't mean that. You're human like us all and she shouldn't even side with you despite of her being a halfbreed." Seaman said pointing his knife at them, "No one would ever make that kind of sacrifice."
