Third POV

"Lala, please watch over the twins for a while." Hayami said to her spirit beast from the kitchen.

Lala cooed in response as Kaida tries to catch the long swishing dragon tail while holding her stuff black dragon and having a pacifier on her mouth. Kuraokami watched his sister from on top of the white dragon, holding his own toy which was a white dragon and sucking his own pacifier. Both toys were personal gifts from their parents on their first birthday and have always carry them in their arms. In a way, the young twins liked Lala and would always wanna play or lay next to her. The white dragon didn't mind and had been gentle with the kids since they were three months old.

The doorbell rings from the door, making Hayami pause in cleaning the dishes.

"Who could that be?" Hayami asked herself, wiping her hands with a towel before heading towards the door, only to hear it ring again. "Hold on, I'm coming." She said, while being on guard for any intruder. To her relief, she opened the door to see Hiei and Ranumi. "Hiei, I thought you would still be in demon world until tomorrow." She stated and let's them in, "Other than that, Ranumi what brings you here?" She asked, closing the door,

"I was summoned by Enki. Telling me to come back here, thanks to Yusuke, who's saying he needs our help." Hiei said to his wife as he saw his daughter happily wobbled her way towards him. He kneeled down and picked Kaida up while she held her stuff toy.

"Yusuke's calling for us? For what?" Hayami asked,

"All he said through the phone that terrorists have invaded the Spirit World, having Botan, Koenma and many other staffs there as hostages." Ranumi explained while approaching her nephew and Lala. "Apparently the so-called rebellion in Spirit World wants to force all demons to be dragged back to Demon World and demanded that they would put the Kakai barrier back up. If the demand is not met in the next few hours, they would blow up the Gate of Judgment where the hostages are." She explained, petting the spirit beast's head,

"Yusuke wants us all to be at his apartment as soon as possible. Kurama is already on his way there, the reason why I brought Ranumi with me to watch over the twins." Hiei said looking into Kaida's eyes then looking at his mate. "The oaf will be coming as well. I suggest that Lala should come with us." He said,

Hayami sighed. "Well whatever is going on in Spirit World, we're probably the best group for the job even if Yusuke's no longer a Spirit Detective." She said as she reached for her coat on the coat stand before wearing it.

"More like a Team Urameshi reunion." Ranumi teased with a chuckle, making her brother in law roll his eyes and her sister shake her head.

Kuraokami got down from Lala and wobbled his way towards his mother. Hayami carried him up and walked over to Hiei for Kaida to hear as well.

"Alright you two, me and your father won't be gone long. Make sure you two behave for your auntie Umi for us, okay?" Hayami said to them as she touch both on their noses with her finger, making her children smile at them. She then turned to Ranumi. "Just get them to bed by nine." She said,

"Don't worry, sister. Your little ones are in good hands." Ranumi said as both parents handed their kids to her.

"They'd better be." Hiei said, earning a slap on the arm by his wife,

"Come on." Hayami said to him and then turning to her spirit beast. "Lala, come with us." She said as the white dragon got up on her legs, following the couple outside before flying off towards Yusuke's apartment. "Hopefully she won't be spotted in the clear night." She said looking at the direction that Lala went.

"Hn." Hiei hummed before scooping his wife in his arms and jumping at light speed from roof to roof towards their destination.
