Ranumi's POV

I held onto Kurama's hand the entire time as we walked in further into the cave. I kept glancing at my sister every few seconds of how she is doing, but the only thing I could feel from the aura she is somewhat radiating is pure self-hatred, pain and guilt. After what Kurama and Hiei said about the promise she made to herself, I was touched of hearing that is how much I mean to Hayami. She puts me and our family first over everything else, even her own emotions.

I'm only worried now of what has to come next once we reach Sensui's lair and save Kuwabara... Because I've never seen my sister this angry at herself for as long as I've known her. I've seen her blame or hated herself before but... not like this.

I felt Kurama tighten his hold on my hand as I looked at him in question. His eyes just showed reassurance as he tightened his hold in a comforting manner. I gave him a small smile as I wrapped my arms around his and leaned myself closer to him while still holding his hand tight.

I took one more glance at my older sister and see that she's calm right now in the surface, which is a good thing. I can only imagine what she's really feeling inside.

We all arrived in a nicely lit cavern where a small pool of water like lake which would seemed to be lighting up the place. But what caught my attention was the tunnel right in front of us with all the demons in my current class are feverishly trying to break through. Not only that, I smell of demon world's atmosphere is literally smelled within the air of this cavern. Just one smell makes me feel like I'm back in my homeland.

Third POV

"Urameshi you're late!" Kuwabara muffled out from the cloth in his mouth. Relieved to see that his teammates came to his rescue. "Get me out of this boat!" He tried to yell,

"We're coming Kuwabara!" Yusuke yelled to him as he slightly got shivers down his spine from the sight of the demons that are trying to get through. "That's some welcoming party, you got a nest full, Sensui. This place definitely got has a spooky vibe, like the aquarium from hell. Like I could reach out and touch them except for a thin sheet of glass between-" He cut himself off after seeing the small crack from the whole.

'Those demons are just lining up for a shot at us. Not the kind crowd you'd want to be stuck in a cave with.' He thought to himself as he stared at the cracking hole of the tunnel.

"In case you're feeling that you've done this before, don't." Hiei said to the detective, "The world ahead of you is nothing like maze castle. They have tapped in intro he true depths of demon world. Ordinary humans will shrivel up just by inhaling its rotten wind."

"We're getting to the real grit of the film Yusuke." Sensui spoke to them as he continued watching the screen in from of him.

"Yeah, it be." Yusuke said,

"The finale is in about half an hour." He said, "The most repulsive part is that they weren't even fighting for anything real. They were killing out of fear, of an idea that threatened their greed. It only gets crueler from here." Sensui said as he stood up from his seat and faced them, "And then the whole thing wraps up with a rather beautiful song."

"That's oddly an appropriate." Yusuke said,

"I've always thought it symbolized hope, which is why I've times the tunnel to open up when the music begin." Sensui said, making Yusuke shocked at the time that was left for them to stop him.

Upon being in his thoughts, the crack on the hole starts to spread, making Ranumi and Kurama gasp in worry at the fast rate of how the tunnel is growing. Hiei then noticed a weird look on Mitari's face.
