Hiei's POV

It has been three days since that Mari was killed and that Hayami become my mate once again. I have not left Hayami's side ever since she was recovering. I couldn't afford to lose her again after what happened to her in the last few weeks.

I noticed Homura always being inside the room, but doesn't bother to speak with me. In fact she kept mumbling and blaming herself for being careless in leaving both Hayami and Ranumi out of her sight. Even I felt sorry for her yet I didn't show it. Despite that I know that she is indeed my older sister after looking into her memories, it would take me some time to adjust, especially with Yaketsuku being my actual father. They both didn't bother to speak with me every time they entered the room, which just made an uncomfortable silence between us and I didn't liked it.

Speaking of Ranumi, I saw through my Jagan eye that she was inside a vault like prison, just below Gandara. What's worse is that she had both her wrist chained, not letting her have any chance of escape or using her energy to break free. And just by the look on her face, she's miserable in being kept inside like a slave.

Just seeing her like that makes my blood boil in anger of how similar Yukina's imprisonment is with hers, without the chains.

"Hiei. Homura." I heard Lady Wakumi's voice as I turned to face the door, only to see her bring a tray of cups of blood for me and Homura. On cue, Raizen's annoying stomach growl is heard. "It's best if you two feed for a while." She said as she placed the tray on the table before looking down as her daughter and gently placing a hand on her forehead. "She still hasn't woken up."

"No." I said to her, "Though her injuries have healed and her energy has fully recovered."

"Yet she's still remains unconscious." Homura added as she turned her head towards our direction, "Her body maybe still weak at the moment but her mind is strong. Have you checked what's going on inside of her?" She asked as she looked at me directly. "I know you have that Jagan eye underneath that cloth." She then pointed a finger at my forehead, "Why don't you use it."

"Hn. I have thought about earlier but refuse the idea, thinking that she would wake up on her own." I said in a lie,

"Maybe." Homura said until she slyly smirked, "But you're a terrible liar."

'Damn this woman.' I thought. She doesn't even need to be a mind reader to tell me that I'm lying. Then again, she knows.

I sighed in defeat as I removed the cloth off my forehead. Closing my two eyes as I opened my third, searching through Hayami's mind as I try to find where her conscious-self is.

Third POV

Homura watched Hiei's Jagan eye pulse in a light blue as he searched in Hayami's mind. She was surprised by the peaceful look on his face as she stared at him.
