Hayami's POV

"Are you sure you'll be alright on your own in getting Keiko?" I asked Ranumi.

It's been five months since we've came back to the living world. Things changed rather quickly with having our lives practically back to normal, even if some good demons are chilling in this world and for the better now that Enki is ruling demon world.

Ranumi and Kurama both graduated high school as the fox skipped college and started working for his father's company, while my dear sister went to college, studying for her career as a doctor. It turned out that Ranumi wanted to not only be our family's personal doctor, but she would also like to help out in hospitals. In truth, both her and her fox started to live in an apartment together two months ago, which concerned me a little bit and was reassured when Kurama told me that my sister is doing well and that he had been mindful of their relationship when being alone.

Meanwhile, I was able to get a job as an Aquarist. In truth taking care of human water creatures intrigued me, mostly the dolphins. At first it was difficult until some  helpful co-workers trained me little as I got used to the job. Right now since my bump is growing by the week, I was asked to stay home by my boss, saying that I could go back to work once my babies are born and healthy. As stubborn as I am, I still go to work to help out in taking care of the sea creatures, though I only to it four times a week. Of course, being at home I did the necessary house chores and would sometimes play a little music on the piano. Even as part water demon, music was and still lives within me, especially now that I have found my peace.

"Don't worry, I'll be just fine." Ranumi said, "Besides, we'll all be meeting at the train station later before going to the temple."

"I suppose so." I said before sighing, "Okay, but call me if you're near the station. Hiei said that he would be meeting me in a cafe near there, so I'll be waiting for him there before going to the station together."

"Okay, just stay safe on your way there." Ranumi said as she gave me a hug and minding the bump I have, "Also, bring a snack with you just in case if they get hungry." She said referring to twins before placing a gentle hand on my swelling womb, "Don't give your mommy a hard time, okay you two. Be good to her." She talked to the growing twins inside of me and I couldn't help but smile. The twins would really be spoiled by their aunts instead of the parents. Then again, who wouldn't love kids.

It's been like this ever since my belly started to grow bigger and Homura, Yukina and Ranumi kept talking to them. Hiei would occasionally give some baby talks on them whenever I get a little stubborn about being picky with my food cravings, though he only does this whenever we're alone at home and that he's taking care of me.

"I'm sure they hear you, Ranumi." I said to her, "We'll meet later."

"Right. Stay safe and don't stress yourself." She reminded me one last time before walking away to fetch Keiko. I'm actually glad that their schools are a few blocks away from each other.

I took a taxi upon going to the station and told Hiei through our telepathic connection. At least he's just patrolling the border zone. Sounds bad but at least he's alright.

Third POV

"So that's it, you all lost." Kuwabara said as he and Kurama sat on a bench, waiting for their train and catching up of what's happening in their lives.

"True, our victories were not of the winning kind." Kurama said admit-tingly,

"Wow. So even Urameshi ate some dirt?" He asked in disbelief, "Guess it's a darn good thing that I didn't take part in it."
