Wakumi's POV

While Yusuke and the others are chasing after Sensui, we all ran up the stairs towards Yusuke's apartment home to where I presume the blast was hit.

"That Reiku-Resshu-Ken sure packed a wall-nut." Koenma said as we kept running up,

"Yes, too much for Yusuke even if he's on a serious bench!" Genkai said,

"What exactly is his strategy? He aimed for the apartment when Yusuke was standing right there." My husband said,

"Must've be tardying sea monkeys, again." Koenma said, "Sensui is certainly persistent in goal oriented, I'll give you that! Just two of the many qualities I avoided when I hired Yusuke." He said as we got to the apartment floor and ran towards the smoked area,

Ryuji opened the door as more smoke came out of the room, making the prince cough violently from breathing it. I used my voice, singing a tune then using it to blow away the smoke from our way. We ran towards the room where the girls are and what I saw next made my heart sank.

"Oh my." Koenma said,

Botan was crushed by the bookshelf on the floor. Ranumi was bleeding next to the bed on the floor as well. Lastly Mitari was sitting next on the wall, all shaken up.

"Botan!" Koenma said in worry as Ryuji lifted the bookshelf off her back as I rushed over to my youngest and gently cradled her in my arms, "Hey, a-are you alright?" He asked as he gently picks her up and didn't receive a reply from the grim reaper,

"I'll take that as a 'no'." Master Genkai said before facing Mitari, "Okay wallflower, you just sat there on your sorry ass watching these poor girls suffer? What's wrong with you?" She asked,

"But what if- I don't know. I was your enemy." Mitari said,

"Heh, set her on the floor. Faced down gently." Genkai said to Koenma before looking at me, "Go and heal your daughter on the bed, Wakumi."

I nodded and gently placed Ranumi's body on the bed as Ryuji gently wiped off the excess blood on her face. I put my hand above her forehead and began the healing process.

"I'm sorry. I'm so confused, I work for Sensui." Mitari said as Ryuji and Koenma glared at him,

"Does he know that? Because from where I've been standing, it looks like he's trying to exterminate more than your employment." Koenma said,

"Listen, if you are Sensui's teammate, why would he let you join if he's just going to kill you once your deed is done?" Ryuji asked, "It's obvious that Sensui wants every human life dead and you'll be too once the tunnel is open."

I was able to heal Ranumi's forehead as she breathes steadily. I'm relieved that she would be okay, though to my confusion, Lala isn't here in the room.

"Our daughter would be fine, Ryuji." I said to my husband as he sighed in relief and kissed Ranumi's head gently,

"Oh Genkai!" Keiko came running in with Puu in her arms, "Thank goodness, I'm so glad you're here."

"Why would that be?" Genkai asked,

"No, not Botan and Ranumi!" Keiko said in worry,

"You needn't worry, Keiko. They're just gonna be fine." I assured her,

"Master Genkai, Lady Wakumi." Kurama's voice was then heard as he came in the room and an injured Shizuru in his arms, "I hope there is strength for one more." He said as his gaze then went to my daughter, "Ranumi." He breathes out in worry as Lala came flying in and cooed in concern,
