Third POV

"Is... that Jimmu?" Hayami asked hesitantly from shock as she stared at the rampaging human-demon through the hallway,

"Without a doubt." Homura said from shock,

"Something must have triggered this to happen for him to go on a rampage." Yaketsuku said as he faced Ryuji and Wakumi, "You two can secure the other prisoners that are loose with Hayami, while we'll deal with Jimmu ourselves."

"No. I'm coming with you." Hayami said firmly to him,

"Hayami, I might have to agree with papa here. It's not safe for you to be near him right now, especially in his state." Homura said, trying to reason with her friend,

"Maybe but that doesn't stop me from trying to find out what caused this!" Hayami argued back as she remembered the look in her father's eyes. "Even just for a second, he's lost, like he's searching for something but doesn't even remember what it is. He's not himself and it blinded him with rage of how long he is being contained." She then clenched her fists in determination, "I'm going after him whether you like it or not!"

Wakumi looked at her daughter in shock as her face soften, giving her an encouraging smile. "Go on, dear." She said with a proud smile on how much her daughter has really grown over the years she hasn't been by her side. Her reply shocked the others in protest, but she just gave her warm smile. "If it is Hayami decision to see Jimmu and try to save him, who am I to stop her from doing something she knows is right. After all..." She says as she looked at her daughter with pride, "It's in our honor to serve and protect. My ocean you have served your purpose and now you must protect it. Go." She encouraged her once more as Hayami nodded with determination, turning around as she ran after her father.

"You really think she would be able to get through to him? I mean she just woke up." Yaketsuku asked in concern,

"Hn. If there's one thing that I know about that girl, it's that she's never been afraid of death no matter how dangerous the situation." Hiei smirked knowingly, having his eyes starring directly to the direction to where his mate ran off too. "She's been a pain in the ass with her recklessness. Hn, then again, who am I to talk." With that, Hiei sped off to catch up with his lover. Not wanting to be away from her or her heart than he already felt. All he wanted was to be with her side by side, not wanting to let her go again.

"Those two are really made for each other." Homura chuckled as she watched her brother go after his mate. It made her happy to see that Hiei found someone he wants to protect so badly.

"Well I can't argue with that. Let's go help them." Yaketsuku said to his daughter who nodded before they both ran after the two mates.

"Shall we, my love." Ryuji said to his wife, gesturing towards the prisoners who were about to make their escape through the halls.

"Of course, dear." Wakumi agreed with a chuckle as the two parents charge towards the escapees.

Hayami's POV

"So do you have a plan in stopping your papa from rampaging?" I heard Homura asked from behind me as I looked back and saw the three fire demon family, running behind me. Now that is something you don't see everyday. "What I mean is that Namiyo was the one who calmed him down the first time he went on a rampage. That also cost a lot of powerful guards just to contain him in one place." She said, warning me of what happened before.

"I'm aware of that, Homura." I said as I looked back in front. For someone who was once human, Jimmu is one strong yet powerful demon. "Besides, I already have a plan." I informed her as I remembered the times when Namiyo came and spoke to me in person while explaining what is needed to happen.
