Divide and Conquer

Hayami's POV

Yusuke caught Sensui off guard by the use of his agility as he went for a right punch, only for it to get blocked and for our detective to get kicked hard on the head and was sent far back. But what caught my attention was the kick Sensui did.

"Try that again." Yusuke said as he charge in once more only for him to receive the same blows he got and ended up flying back and broke a lamppost,

"You just scuff off the ground, Urameshi! You won't defeat lying down!" Kuwabara yelled at him as Yusuke got up and wiped off the blood on his mouth.

"As I thought, the two detectives are too much alike." Kurama said, "With their similar background, it's again fighting your own reflection in the mirror. Futile war that cannot be won."

"Sensui anticipates Yusuke's every move, it's also what he would do, only that the former is one step ahead." I said, "Not to mention his Resshu-Ken style in fighting."

"You're not wrong, Hayami, especially since you have mastered that technique." Genkai said, "There are stringent moves that governs in the study of the Resshu-Ken style. One may only learn its ways once they have every other techniques under their belt. So many considered it the strongest, most elegant maneuver in all of martial art."

"Yes old woman, you and your precious halfbreed recognized the Resshu-Ken art form, but this technique you've never seen." Sensui said as his hand started to glow, creating a small orb of light, "My own special blend of Resshu-Ken and spirit energy. A vengeful twist on an old favorite. I like to call it 'The Reiku-Resshu-Ken'."

"Remarkable, energy and style as one." Wakumi said,

Sensui tossed his energy in the air as he jumped. "It's time to judge your allies!" He said as he kicked his energy towards us,

But much to our confusion, the ball of energy just passed above us and was aimed for something else.

"Guess all the training in the world can't make up for bad aim." Kuwabara said,

We followed where the energy was headed and in blew up on Yusuke's apartment building.

Third POV

(Before the impact)

Sniper kept firing his bullets at Ranumi and Lala's barrier as each bullets hits, nothing seemed to break it.

"I have an idea." Shizuru said as the two girls face her in which she started to run out of the room,

"Shizuru, what are you doing?!" Botan asked,

"My duty as a sister." She said, "He may piss me off sometimes but he's my little bro and I'm the only one who gets to pick on him." With that she left the room,

Ranumi looked at Botan in worry for Shizuru as she looked over at Mitari who is covering his ears. Suddenly a bright covered their view as a powerful blast shattered Ranumi and Lala's barrier, causing the girl to get knocked back and hit her forehead on the metal bar of the bed as she started to lose conscious from the impact as blood poured from the injury.
