Also, let it known that this is a long chapter so I apologize for that. Anyways, moving on.
Hayami's POV
All of us returned tot he hotel for a well deserved rest after the first fight today. After that glare with team Toguro, we know that defeating team Rokuyukai is only the first step before facing them in the finals. We all arrived at the hotel as we sat on the couches. Ranumi immediately attended to healing Yusuke's wound on his foot and the bruises he received from his fight with Chu.
"All of you did great today." Father said, "Your next fight will the day after tomorrow, so take your time to rest or train if you'd wish."
"Why do I have a feeling of a lecture is coming up?" Ranumi asked as she finished healing Yusuke and sat in between me and Kurama on the couch,
Father only narrowed his gaze at her and to Botan as well.
"He meant by you two jumping into somewhere that could kill you." Hayami said pointing to her and Botan,
Botan nervously chuckled as she played innocently with her cat face.
"For me was on instinct for being worried." Ranumi defended but I didn't buy it.
I felt Hiei sat on the armrest of the couch beside me and crossed his legs as his arm leaned at the back of the couch.
"Care to explain what brought you here other than your worry for everyone fighting in this tournament?" I said to her, resting my right arm on Hiei's leg as I lean on to him, "Ran, you know I don't want you to get kidnap or anything that might happen to you or to anyone for that matter."
"Wait, Ranumi was kidnapped before?" Yusuke asked,
"Yes, she was when we first fought with a demon named Yatsude." Kurama said,
"Yatsude?" Kuwabara asked,
"Yes, I remember him." Botan said, "He's a demon who eats human and demon alike, making him grow stronger."
