Hayami's POV

I woke up to see that the sun hasn't risen up up and that it was still dark. I looked at the time to see that it was still 5:09am in the morning. I felt Hiei's arms that was around my waist shifted a little as he pulled me closer to him and felt his warm breathe hits my neck.

"Are you awake Onna?" He whispered softly as I felt his head leaned on mine,

"Yeah. Sorry to wake you." I apologized shifting myself in his hold to face him,

"It's fine." He said, brushing off a strand of hair from my face, "Are you sure you're not going to use your dragon in this fight? You'll die if you didn't use your most powerful attacks and I don't want to see that happen." He said having a concerned tone in his voice,

"As much as I need Tetsuya in this upcoming battle today, there's not much time that I can do to prove my worth to him." I said looking at his crimson eyes, "I just hope my training was enough to build up the strength I need to win."

Hiei gently placed as hand on my cheek before leaning his forehead against min. "Just be careful in the ring. I don't want to loose you. Not that I'm saying I don't have faith in you, but after your breakdown, I figured that you'll need more time and that it'll affect your battling state." He said,

"Sure...True, I'm still sad about Genkai's passing, but I'm not gonna let all her teaching me go to waste and I won't let it affect me in the ring." I said with determination, "Promise me you'll do the same."

"Of course love." He said kissing my cheek as I snuggled closer, having my head on his chest as he has his arms around me. "We'll be okay, Onna. We'll be okay." He reassured me.

None of us slept after that but just enjoyed each other's presence. I hummed to myself as I try to keep my mind from thinking anymore.

"You should try and sing for me sometime." Hiei said making me looked up at him to see had a soft smile, "You have a beautiful voice, Hayami." He complimented, as I blushed a little and shook my head in embarrassment, hiding my face on his chest. He softly chuckled and kissed my head.

When the clock hits seven, me and Hiei got up to get ready for the fights. I was fixing my hair as I look out the window. My thoughts went back to Genkai and all the times I've spent with her during training. I smiled sadly at the memories, both good and some tortures from her along the way, but I'm glad to have met her.

I felt arms wrapped it's way around waist, causing me to stop fixing my hair as my back hits a hard chest.

"Still thinking about her?" Hiei asked as he whispers at my ears. I nodded as my gaze went back to the sun rising in the distance as it shines on the ocean. "We'll be okay. This fight... we'll win it. We'll do it for your mother and teacher, Onna." He said kissing the back of my neck,

"Yeah... we'll be okay." I said looking at him as I turned my head as he leaned down and captured my lips in his.

Eventually, we were all set and ready as we met the other three in the lobby. Preparing to leave for the final fights.

"It's time to kick some ass!" Yusuke said with determination as he punched his fist into his palm,

"Right!" Kuwabara agreed as we all nodded and walked our way towards the stadium.

Upon getting there, demons who are waiting in line are trash talking at us to lose. We paid no mind to them as we all kept walking in. We made it to the stadium ring doors while hearing some demons cheering from the outside of the door next to us. Hiei secretly held my hand the whole time we walked all the way hear. At least it gives me a sense of calmness that I actually need.
