Hiei's POV

I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the person I'd had come to see as a mother... that she was really is alive. Lady Wakumi is indeed alive. I watched my mate and her family happily back together as they hugged each other. I mentally smiled at the sight of Hayami to see her very happy. I knew that she wished for her mother to return... and now that wish had come true.

"Hey who's the pretty lady-" I cut the orange fool off by stomping on his feet to prevent anymore unnecessary things about Lady Wakumi. "WHAT WAS THAT SHRIMP BOY?! I WAS JUST ASKING A QUESTION!!!"

"Show some respect. In case you have forgotten, that women with Hayami and her family is their mother and Ryuji's wife." I informed him,

"You mean, she's Lady Wakumi?" Yukina asked me in shock, "The queen of the ocean?"

"Yes, that is indeed her." I confirmed to my dear sister,

"She really looks beautiful." Keiko complimented,

"Wow, I guess looks and power runs in their family." Yusuke said which made me roll my eye mentally,

"Yes, her name is of legend and how her family was also known throughout the demon race." Kurama said,

"It's wonderful to meet all of you." Lady Wakumi said as her family broke the hug, while Ranumi is still clinging onto her waist, "Genkai and Koenma has told me a bit about all of you along the way here and I'm quite thankful that my daughters had made such great friends."

Botan chuckles, "I suppose we all know where Ranumi's sweetness came from." She teased,

"Botan!" Ranumi yelled at her as she blushed,

"Yes along with the stubbornness that Hayami inherited from her when she tried to convince Koenma about the offer in bringing her back to life as a thank you after all that our water girl has done for us." Genkai said in which Wakumi chuckled in embarrassment while my dearest mate looked away and pouted a little much to my amusement,

"So Koenma offered Wakumi to come back to life? Though for what reasons exactly, master Genkai." Ryuji asked,

"Well for one thing, I know that Hayami is very protective of her own mother whenever demons would insult her name and would obviously wish for her to return back to life, even though she knew it would be impossible and selfish." Genkai pointed out as Hayami looked at her in surprise, "Of course, after seeing her records in the human world for the past 20 years and that she help him ever since, Koenma actually owe Hayami big time for her help even though she didn't ask any of it in return."

"Because I didn't think it was necessary since I was just doing my job and making sure that I wouldn't go to spirit world prison." Hayami said crossing her arms, "In truth, every time I go to the spirit world, he kept reminding me about his depth to me as a thank you but I kept turning it down. Like I said: I didn't think it was necessary."

"Yet your wish came true." Ryuji said to her, "and so did mine and Ranumi's."

"Mother, does that mean you'll be really coming back home with us?" Ranumi asked in hopes that she would say yes,

"Of course, my water lily." Wakumi said, "I'm not going anywhere else and I might as well learn a bit more about the human life."

"There's one thing I'm a little confused about." Botan said,

"What is it, dear?" Wakumi asked the grim reaper,

"Does Hayami have to give back the powers you've given to her, since those powers are originally yours?" She asked,
