Hayami's POV
It has been almost six months of training with Takumi and Homura. Learning new skills and attacks from them was difficultly expected, especially with the full throttle of on and on fights. But nonetheless, they both were able to get be stronger than I was. My level of power kept growing stronger through my months of training with them. Well despite the challenging training in my human form, I refuse to train in my demon form. That form was just a boost in power or when I am in my most vulnerable and I won't use it for a pity excuse for a fight. I'm as strong as I am and that isn't going to change on who or what I am.
"Alright you two, that's enough." Takumi said right after me and Homura were pushed away from each other and were left panting.
So far, me and Homura's strength are almost at the same level and even if I'm getting stronger, I could tell her level of experience is superior to mine. Especially when it comes in wielding a dragon.
The thought of the dragon got me thinking of my certain black dragon. Hiei.
Through the past months, I have been feeling his constant pain and even if I know that I wouldn't be able to see him, it didn't stop me from getting worried about his condition. Ever since my first day of training and on few hours of rest, I could feel Hiei endlessly fighting. As if there is no point in resting in Mukuro's training.
My train of thoughts were interrupted as I glance to see my sister walking up to us along with Takumi.
"I have to say, Hayami. Your power is almost as strong as Homura." Takumi complimented as he faced the female fire demon next to me. "You might have some competition."
"Yeah, yeah, I get it." Homura said as she waved her hand dismissively, "But I wouldn't complain since Hayami here is a better training partner than you." She said as she had me in her arms,
"Yes, because the only difference is that Hayami is more disciplined and you're too aggressive when training." Takumi said with a straight face,
"That's because you never take me seriously!" Homura retorted,
"I do take you seriously." Takumi said as he turned glance at her with a slight smug on his face, "To an extent of your childishness."
And Homura just blasted while me and Ranumi held her down. "YOU'RE SUCH A BIG MEAN JERK TAKUMI!!! COME HERE AN FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!!!" She went in a fuss about it,
"If we fight now, you'll automatically lose due to your exhaustion." Takumi pointed out, though knowing that he was innerly enjoying Homura's suffering. I feel bad for Homura at this point.
A loud grumbling was heard, making Homura stop her fussing. That sound was coming from none other than King Toshin Raizen. Or in any case, Yusuke's ancestral father.
"I suppose it's feeding time." Ranumi said,
"I guess so." Homura said, finally showing signs of exhaustion. In truth I don't know where she was exhausted the most: Our trainings or Takumi's teasing retorts.
"I'll let someone bring you some tea and your meal while you two rest in your room." Takumi said before facing my sister. "Ranumi, kindly escort them there. I'll be there in two hours after checking on what's the progress with both your fathers and as well as checking on my father's condition." He said as he went on his way.
