"Before we proceed, let's go on what we know about our enemies." Kurama said,

"We know that there were seven of them to begin with." Ryuji said,

"Yusuke took down Doctor in the hospital." Hayami said,

"And I did a way with Sniper." Hiei said,

"Yes, seven minus two leaves five." Wakumi said,

"Also Mitari is now with us, leaving four left." Ranumi said,

"We'll know that they'll head back to Demon's Door Cave. That's where we'll go to intercept them and retrieve Kuwabara." Kurama said,

"Oh we're done sitting on our asses and waiting patiently." Yusuke said as he crossed his arms,

"Stick a sock in it you impulsive twit." Genkai said to him, "The tunnel opens in two days and your sarcasm won't close it any faster."

"But that's four days earlier than our team in spirit world was estimating." Botan said,

"Yeah, why do they keep moving up the deadline." Yana said, " It's like the tunnel is growing faster."

"When a psychic tampers with this sort of power that Itsuki has there is a tendency to overpower and loose control of it." Wakumi said,

"Now that you've mentioned it, he did say that it's going faster than he thought." Mitari said, "Like the tunnel has a life of its own, it wants to grow."

"Or you could tell by the increase of bugs that's almost covering the whole city." Chiharu said,

"Or you tell just how fast by looking at our fare city." Kaito said, "Well once fare."

"All the more reason why we should storm the cave now before the gateway could expand any wider." Kurama said,

"Right, especially now that they have Kuwabara." Hayami said, "If they could use his new power to cut through dimensions and release the higher leveled demons, we're done. Though I doubt that Kuwabara would want to help, Sensui."

"But they don't need him to because they have Gourmet." Mitari said to her,

"Right. According to Mitari, they're most likely gonna have this Gourmet eat his power so that he can then use them to break the Kakai Barrier." Kurama said,

"I saw him do it once and it was the most horrific thing I'd ever seen." He said, "He consumes their abilities by literally eating them whole while they're still alive." Hearing this made Botan and Ranumi got shivers and flinched,

"Does he at least puts something on them? Mustard? Chili?" Yusuke asked, trying to lighten up,

"No, he just eats him." Mitari said as he looked to the detective, "Once they're inside him, their powers become his. His territory exists entirely within his stomach."

A gust of wind just passed them as Hiei felt the demon energy gets stronger. "There goes that old familiar wind again. I think two days is overly optimistic." He said,

"I guess that means it's time for me to kick a little ass." Yusuke said, punching his fist lightly on to his palm in excitement,

"Down boy." Genkai said, making Yusuke look at his teacher, "Before you go going all dim witted and fist happy, we should send a small group to scout out the cave. Yusuke, Kurama, Hayami, Hiei, you'll be the first wave."

"Hn." Hiei hummed in agreement as they all nodded,

"That way just in case if you all get killed while you're down in there, the rest of the world still has a chance of surviving this disaster, we'll be the second line of defense. Hang back here and see how it goes." She explained before looking at the Water Lily, "But just for good measures, Ranumi, go with them. Your barriers can help prevent the lower apparitions from coming out of the tunnel and for desperate measures you can remove your spirit cuffs."
