Jaemi was doing dishes after having lunch. She had wrinkles on her forehead. Not like she really has but she was in tension of not finding any decent Job. That's why she was rubbing dishes from her full strength that it got slipped from her hand and it slipped.
The plate shattered in pieces and a small gasp escape from her mouth. She sat down and started picking up the pieces. Mrs. Kim ran into the kitchen wondering what happened. She looked at Jaemi picking the pieces of plates. No "Oh god Jaemi are you okay did you hurt yourself?"
Jaemi looked at Mrs. Kim and shake her head.
"No mom I'm okay I'm sorry for this."
"No no it's okay as long as you are okay. Let me help you."
Mrs. Kim started helping her. That's when Jaemi's cell phone started ringing. It was on the kitchen counter.
"Pick up I'm cleaning it don't worry."
"Yes thank you mom."
She stood up and picked up the phone from counter and went outside the kitchen. It was an unknown number. She was questioning the number. She didn't want to pick up the call of someone she don't wanna talk, for example; her parents, Taewoon or Namjoon.
She took a deep breathe before accepting it and put it on her ear.
"Hello?"
"Hello I'm Ahn Kiyeon. I'm an artist and own an art gallery named Vision of art. Am I speaking to Park Jaemi?"
Jaemi tilted her head not believing what she was listening. Is this true? Is someone really calling her from an art gallery?
"Uh yeah yeah I'm Park Jaemi. How can I help you?"
She wanted to play cool. Adrenaline was rushing in her vessels not knowing what to do. But she don't remember applying to this academy? But this doesn't matter now. She wanted to know what Kiyeon wanted from her.
"Hi Jaemi! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I wanna know if you are an artist?"
"Yeah I'm an artist I was an employee in Seoul Art Gallery previously."
"Oh my god really? Then you must be a really good painter"
Jaemi giggled a little and hummed in response. Then Kiyeon started speaking.
"Look Jaemi we need artists in Global warming program. In this program we are going to draw awareness spreading arts around city. I'm in desperate need of a good artist. I saw some of your works that Mr. Kim Taehyung send me. And I'm amazed I really am."
