THE DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES

Months have passed and it was finally the day. Morgana looked at Leo one last time, "Keep the prophecy safe, Leo. I'm warning you."

"Yes, my lady."

They all apparated to the shadows of the hall of prophecies, watching as death eaters appeared as well and put on their masks.

Tom, who was also wearing a mask and acting like a deatheater just incase they were caught, walked over to her. "It'll be alright."

Morgana nodded, but stayed quiet as the door opened, and in came the students.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, and Neville walked into the prophecy hall. Harry rushed over, "92..93..94..here. Sirius is supposed to be here."

"Harry, there's nobody here." Hermione said, playing along.

Luna pointed to a glass orb, "Ron, it's got your name on it."

"Yours too, Harry." Neville said, pointing to another orb.

Ron and Harry shared a look as they walked over to their own orbs. Ron's eyes widened as he saw what it was saying underneath,

'DARK LADY + R.B.W'

"Dark Lady?" Ron whispered in confusion as he snatched the orb from the shelf greedily while Harry did the same.

"Harry! Ron!" Hermione exclaimed, pointing to two men walking over.

"Where's Sirius?" questioned Harry.

The two chuckled mockingly, "You know you should really tell the difference between dreams.." Lucius said, pulling off his mask while his son did the same next to him, "And Reality."

"You saw only what the dark lord and the dark lady wanted you to see." continued Leo, his eyes stopping on the prophecy in Ron's hand, "Now, hand over the prophecy."

"If you do anything to us, I'll break it!" Ron exclaimed.

A crazy cackle was heard, making Neville take an unconscious step back as the crazy Bellatrix appeared, "He knows how to play! Itty bitty baby...Weasel and Potter."

"Bellatrix Lestrange.."

"Neville Longbottom, is it?" smirked Bellatrix, "How's mom and dad?"

"Better now, they're about to be avenged!" Neville exclaimed, but was stopped by Luna holding his hand.

"Hand us the prophecies." Lucius repeated, reaching for Harry.

"I don't think so." said Ron, suddenly gaining confidence as he held up the glass orb in his hands, carelessly throwing it from one hand to the other, making Leo tense immediately. "What's this prophecy?"

"You don't know what a prophecy is?" questioned Leo, his voice filled with mock.

Ron frowned, "No."

The Malfoy heir's hand twitched to his wand, "Hand it over and I shall explain everything."

"NOW!"

"STUPIFY!" The friends exclaimed simultaneously and rushed out of the door.

"Department of mysteries.." mused Ron as they fell into a room with a veil in the middle of it, "They got that right, didn't they?"

"The voices, can you hear what they're saying?"

"There aren't any voices, Harry." replied Hermione in confusion.

"I can hear them too." Luna said dreamily.

"Get behind me!" Harry exclaimed as the room was filled with Black and Green smoke.

But it was too late as only he and Ron were left by the veil, "Did you actually think..or were you truly naive enough..to think that children stood a chance against us.." Lucius mocked from behind them.

"We'll make this easy for you two, Potter and Weasley." Leo continued, "Hand over the prophecies.. or watch your friends die."

"Don't give it to them!" Neville tried but was hushed by Bellatrix, who was holding him.

Harry and Ron shared a look as they slowly gave the prophecies to the two Malfoys.

Suddenly, the room was filled with White light. Harry shared a panicked look with Hermione, knowing what was happening, but not knowing how.

"Stay away from my godson." Sirius said, behind Lucius, who immediately got into a duel with him while simultaneously protecting the prophecy in his hands.

Leo, however, wasn't so lucky as Mad-Eye Moody appeared behind him and blasted him across the room. He groaned in pain as he stood up, his eyes widening when he noticed the broken prophecy, "shit.."

Morgana and Tom, who were both watching from the sidelines, joined in on the duel. "AVADA KEDAVRA!" Morgana tried killing Ron, who somehow dodged it, also simultaneously somehow sending the spell back.

Everyone stopped dueling, friends and foes alike, watching as the green light was headed towards Morgana.

Morgana, who was too in shock to move, was hit by her own spell.

However, the ring that Tom had gotten her for her birthday present, broke on her finger and dropped onto the ground, while she was safe, now only having her two rings (The Gaunt family ring and the Slytherin heir ring) on her fingers.

They all shared shocked glances while Tom felt like he would be fainting from joy, knowing that the powerful protective chants and spells he had put on the ring had worked.

Everyone snapped out of their shock and started dueling, while Morgana was trying extremely hard to kill Ron, who somehow kept dodging the spells but couldn't fight back.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Bellatrix shouted towards an order member, while the deatheaters all apparated away and so did Leo.

Kingsley Shacklebolt, who was too busy dueling Lucius infront of the veil, stopped in shock as the spell hit him and pushed him into the veil.
