Avengers...

Nikita's POV

I got into my suit and grabbed the weapons I needed.

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out."

We all piled onto the quinjet. "All they want is to live their lives in peace. And that's not gonna happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done. We find out what Ultron's been building, we find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron think's we're monsters. That we're wrong what's with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."

We arrived at Sokovia and Wanda started to use her powers to get the people out of the city. We helped get people in their cars and out of the city.

Robots started to pop out of the ground like cicadas.

"Go get off the bridge!" I practically threw a woman into her car.

Suddenly the ground started to split near the bridge and edges of the city.

Buildings and debris were falling off the edge and robots were everywhere.

I tried my best to keep to keep the robots away from the people but there were way too many.

"The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off."

"You know your getting real good at those pep talks." I told Steve.

"Just keep everyone safe."

"Really I thought I was here for ballet."

He went to keep a car from falling when the rear fender broke and the car went falling. Then Thor swooped in and threw the woman back up in the air towards us.

I jumped down and grabbed a metal rod in the ground.

"I got you! Just look at me!"

I pulled up with all my strength and we made it safely to the top.

"You can't save them all." A robot said right as I was getting up. But Steve threw his shield at it.

"You'll never..." Steve threw the robot off the edge.

"You'll never what? You didn't finish!" He yelled down.

Thor dropped a car next to us and the two men got out.

"What were you napping?"

We didn't stop to chat we went right back to fighting

"The next wave is gonna hit any minute." Steve said as we took the people to a building where they could hide. "What do you got, Stark?"

"Huh? Nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface, if you guys can get clear."

"I asked for a solution not an escape plan."

I didn't listen to the rest of the conversation.

"Hate to ruin the moment but we have a problem."

"Glad you like the view, Romanoff." Said the unexpected voice of Nick Fury himself. "It's about to get better."

"Talk about deja vu" I looked at Steve.

"I'd rather not."

A helicarrier showed up at the edge of the city.

"Nice right. Pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do."

"Fury, you son of a bitch."

"Ooh! You kiss your mother with that mouth?"

"This is SHIELD?" Pietro asked.

"This is what SHIELD's supposed to be."

"This is not so bad."

Five smaller ships left the main one and came to the city.

"Load them up."

We ran everyone we could to the lifeboats.

"I got about 50 to 100 more coming in after this group." Steve told a guard.

"Avengers, time to work for a living."

We ran to join Thor, Tony, and Vision at the core.

"What's the drill?" Nat asked after crashing a truck into the church.

"That's the drill. If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose."

"Is that the best you can do?" Thor said to Ultron.

All his robots gathered around us.

"You had to ask."

"This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?"

"Like the old man said, together."

The robots charged in at us.

We were fighting for what felt like hours.

And once again looking badass in slow-motion ran through my mind.

"Their trying to leave the city."

"We can't let them leave not even one. Rhodey."

"We gotta move out. Even I can tell the airs getting thin. You guys get to the boats. I'll sweep for stragglers. Be right behind you."

"I'll help." I told Steve.

"No. You get out of here."

"We don't leave each other behind." He let out a defeated sigh and I just walked away.

"What about the core?"

"I'll protect it. It's my job." Wanda offered.

"Nat. This way."

I found a woman and two children hiding in a subway stairwell.

I grabbed the boys and led them and their mother to the last boat.

Clint carried someone into the boat, It was Pietro.

I jumped onto the boat just in time.

"Hey are you okay?" Steve came up to me.

"Just...I'll get back to you on that." I layed down on a bench.

*Time Skip*

"I think we can handle a couple rookies." I told Steve and Nat.

We walked into a room.

In flew Wanda, Vision, Sam, and Rhodey.
