After the horrifying scene outside, Sam, Bucky, and I ran after Walker.
We had followed him to a warehouse. The three of us walked inside and saw him on the ground with the bloody shield.
It was almost impossible for me to look at the shield.
As Walker got up he headed in our direction.
"Walker." Sam said.
"You guys should see a medic, you don't look so good." He said to us.
"Stop, Walker." Sam said sternly.
"What? You saw what happened. You know what I had to do. I killed him because I had to! He killed Lemar!"
"He didn't kill Lemar, John. Don't go down that road. Believe me, it doesn't end well." Bucky said.
"I'm not like you. Either of you."
That was harsh. Walker has always thought the shield made him invincible, but it didn't.
"Listen, it was the heat of the battle. Okay? If you explain what happened, they may consider your record. We don't want anyone else to get hurt." Sam tried to talk to Walker. "John...You gotta give me the shield, man."
"Oh, so that's what this is. You almost got me." He said as realisation hit.
"You made a mistake." Sam said.
"You don't want to do this."
"Yeah, we do." I said.
Bucky, Sam, and I charged Walker.
Every time one of us tried to kick or punch him he would dodge and we would end up hitting one of the other.
"Why are you making me do this? Why are you making me do this?" Walker yelled.
Bucky was pinned against a machine and then Walker flung him into another machine and Bucky must have hit his arm on something electric, because sparks flew everywhere.
Walker tried to stab the shield edge at me but I used my hands to stop it.
I was backed up into a wall trying to get the shield from Walker's grip.
He didn't let go so I used all my strength and I threw the shield above my head. Since Walker still had a strong grip on the shield he was thrown into the wall as well.
He dropped the shield and as he ran to get it I did too.

He punched the shield as I held it up.
I tried to hit him with the shield, he grabbed the edges of the shield and ripped my arm to the side. My arm slipped from the grip and I flew across the room.
I tried to get up but the feeling of something coming from my nose stopped me. I touched just under my nose and when I brought my fingers back down I saw blood.
Bucky walked over to me and the two of us tried our best to get the shield from Walker. Bucky and I held him down while Sam tried to pry the shield from his arm and grip.
Sam used the thrusters on his suit to pulled. After a loud crack from his arm the shield was ripped from his arm.
"It's mine." Walker said.
"It's over, John." Sam said.
"It's mine."
He tried to throw a punch at Bucky but Bucky just ended up punching him in the face.
Bucky picked up Walker, Sam grabbed the shield and we ran them together, knocking John unconscious.
As we all laid there on the ground Bucky picked up the shield and tossed it down next to Sam. After that he didn't say anything, he just walked away.

"The GRC is conducting raids to try and find Karli, but so far they've only found her followers. They've searched this camp, and just like the last camp, nothing. She's gone. We'll never find her." Sam said.
We were all pissed after what happened.
"Hey, you got your sleeve back." Torres said to Bucky.
Bucky got up and started to walk out. "Are you off to take care of Zemo?" Sam asked.
Bucky just turned back to walking away.
"All right, good to know you survived."
I followed after Bucky.
"So are you going to do it?" I asked.
"What?"
"Kill Zemo." I said obviously.
"No. I'm going to make sure he ends up where he belongs."
What better place than hell. If it were me, I would kill him without hesitation.
