Sophie Scamander had a peaceful night's sleep after hearing the good news from Asteria. The amount of relief she felt after she heard they had finally found Isabella was indescribable. More than that, her heart was at peace knowing that her best friend would be relieved now.

Hannah tiptoed her way towards the door after hearing a soft knock. She slowly opened it, letting Susan, Hermione, Amelia, Asteria, and Cassie in. "Still asleep?" whispered Hermione.

"She doesn't know how to pretend. So basically, yeah." Ria whispered back, grinning. The four silently chuckled.

She quietly placed Cass on Sophie's bed, and the tabby began sniffing her hair, excited. Sophie stirred in her sleep, not being used to hearing purrs early in the morning.

She slowly peeked one eye open. "Cassie?" she grunted in question. Amelia and Susan shot confetti out of their wands, and Sophie sat up in her bed in surprise.

"Happy birthday, Sophie!" The girls sang, laughing at her surprised face.

It took her a long second to register that it was her sixteenth birthday, and a smile appeared on her face as she looked around at all of them.

Ria took her into a hug straight away, making her laugh in delight. "Happy sweet sixteenth, my love!" She said with a huge smile and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you." replied Sophie with a chuckle. "All of you, thank you so much." she said, looking at them all.

"Oh! This is nothing!" Ria jumped in excitement and tugged at her hands. "Come down, quick!"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Sophie said hurriedly, stopping her while in her pyjamas. "Like this?" She asked, looking down at her grey sweatpants and black tank top.

"Nothing's wrong with it!" Amelia scoffed. "You look sexy! Come on, now!"

"Wait— wait!" She said again, as the girls tried to scurry her down again. "I've just woken up, at least let me brush my—"

"I'll— I'll bring her down. You all go ahead." Ria interrupted her, and the girls nodded. They left the room, muttering between themselves while Sophie gave Ria a questioning look.

"When did you plan all this? While being this busy?" She asked, while Asteria retrieved a small box from her pocket and placed her on Sophie's palm. "And this is mint?"

"Have some. We don't have time for brushing teeth." Ria ushered, and then took a bottle out of her pocket.

"How— How did that fit in there?" Sophie said, chucking some mint in her mouth. "Since when did pockets for women become so big?"

"Surprising.. I know." She hummed. Sophie smiled, not at all bothered by the stuff Ria was doing to her hair. Ria was the only one she trusted her curly hair with, since Sophie herself had taught her how to deal with them.
