It had been three months since you broke up with Aomine after he cheated. Imayoshi was by your side the entire time, as promised you still showed up to practice but Imayoshi wouldn't allow Aomine near you. After practice would end, Imayoshi would walk you home. His feelings for you only grew, and sometimes you would fall asleep on him. That would cause him to spend the night, which only made it harder for him to have self control. He wanted you to look at him the way you used to look Aomine.

Right now was no different, you both were watching T.V., cuddling in your room. You had fallen asleep on his shoulder, he glanced down at you and moved your hair out of your face. Your sleeping face was so peaceful, that he was tempted to kiss you. He smiled to himself before turning the movie off. He gently laid you down on the bed and covered you up. The movement caused you to wake up, and you yawned slightly.

"Sorry did I wake you?" Imayoshi asked and you looked at him before shrugging.

"Kinda." You admitted but pulled him down close to you, he stiffened a bit but chose to let you cuddle into his chest. You both were now chest to chest, and he wrapped his arm around your waist.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, thanks to you. I want to thank you for everything you did, to help me get over him." You said and Imayoshi opened his eyes to stare at you. The way you stared at him made something snap inside of him. He quickly captured your lips in a gentle yet deep kiss. You gasped out of surprised and he rolled on top of you, pinning your hands on both sides of your head.

He gently moved his lips against yours, after sometime you slowly began to kiss back. Imayoshi pulled from the kiss and leaned his forehead against yours.

"Sorry, I just~" You cut him off pressing your lips to his again, and it was Imayoshi's turn to be surprised. It didn't take him as long as you to return the kiss. The kiss lasted for several of minutes, only deepening when you allowed him access to your mouth. You both let out a small moan, and he sucked on your tongue before parting again.

"We should stop..." He said and you nodded your head, knowing why. You had felt something poke your thigh, and it was coming from him. He crawled off of you and looked at the ceiling as he took in a deep breath.

"I- I love you Imayoshi..." You said with a small blush and he looked over at you.

"Really?"

"Yeah, you were there for me. I didn't realize it before. I was just thinking about that very thing the past few weeks." You admitted and sat up, he sat beside you and placed his hand on top of yours.

"I love you too, I just didn't want to force you into another relationship. After all yours and Aomine's breakup was pretty nasty." He said, stroking your cheek and you nodded in agreement.

"In fact (Y/N), I have loved you before you even started dating Aomine." He said stroking your hair out of your face.

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"I knew you had strong feelings for Aomine, so I was satisfied with our friendship." He admitted, as if on cue your phone began to ring. Imayoshi grabbed it from the table for you but saw it was Aomine. He debated if he should hang up for you.

"Who is it?"

"Aomine..."

"Hang up." He didn't hesistate to hang up and pulled you into his lap. He placed several kisses on your cheek and hugged you tighter.

"So, will you be my girlfriend?"

"If you promise to never hurt me."

"I swear on my life." You looked up at him and smiled, giving him the chance to kiss you.
