Chapter 37: MY FRIEND WEDDING

                   KOURTNEY POV;

           TODAY was Tiffany wedding.  And our friend look totally dump. She cried every night thinking about Achilles. Sinabi daw sakanya ni Achilles na mahal na ng lalaking yun ang babaeng pakakasalan nya. Syempre ano pabang ini-expect nating mararamdaman ni Tiff diba?

“Hey you looked beautiful as always Tiff” I said. Habang nakatingin sakanya through the mirror.

“Yeah, definitely stunning” Ysabell said.

“But there's something is missing” I said.

“What is it?” Tiffany asked.

“Your smiled babe, di naman kailangan na malungkot ka sa araw ng kasal mo diba” sabi ko.

“I-I just can't believe that Achilles would say that to me” she said nearly cry.

Ysabell walked towards her and hug her from behind.

“It's okay Tiff, I know you're a very tough girl”

“But—”

“No buts, and his still our schoolmate. You can take
revenge—”

“No, After this wedding. I won't take revenge, 'cause I don't wanna ruin his life just because I'm mad at him,” Tiff said that made me smiled widely.

“Kourtney, Ysabell were going!” Mom said down stair. Nasa bahay pa kasi nila Tiff.

“Hey Tiff, I'm happy for you, and put a big smile on your kissable lips okay?” I said and she just nodded, me and Yssa went down stair.

Im just wondering if Eroll came. Of course not, it's his friend wedding too so he prefer to go on Achilles wedding instead of my friend Tiffany's wedding. After our presentation he never talked to me again, what a mean jerk!

Nang makarating na kami sa church ay agad na kaming bumaba ni Yssa. At doon ko naman nakita ang mga iba pang abay ni Tiffany. And at the corner of the Church my jaw drop when I saw him standing there. Si Eroll.

“Oh My God!” I whispered.

“Hey are you okay?” Yssa suddenly ask.

“Ah O-O-Oo, I just..... Bebs look” I said as I point my index finger on Eroll.

“It's Eroll” she said.

“I know it's him, what I'm trying to say is, what is he doing here? He supposed to be in his friend wedding”

“Y-yeah? And that's why his here”

“What the holy cow Ysabell!” malakas na sabi ko. I immediately cover my mouth when I felt like everyone's eyes was on me. “Can you please tell me what you know?”

“Fine, diba ikakasal si Achilles. And that's why Eroll is here”

“Why here?”

“Ang slow mo rin pala kahit matalino ka noh,”

“Just tell me,” gigil na saad ko sakanya.

“Ang babaeng pakakasalan ni Achilles was Tiffany, that's Ezekiel told me”

“Ah! Kaya pala sinabi yun ni Achilles kay Tiffany.” I said.

FAST FORWARD------

“You may now kiss the bride” sabi ni father kay Achilles and Tiff.

Hindi ko mawari ang saya na nararamdam ngayon ni Tiffany. Na sawakas ang lalaking mahal nya ang pinakasalan nya.

Ngayon nasa reception na kami. Nasa isang lamesa kami. Kasama ko sila Yssa syempre. Si Ezekiel, Zarina, Ashley and Eroll. While Im eating someone patted my shoulder, when I looked at it I saw Alwin with Kryzel. I jumped into my seat and hug Kryzel.

“Gosh it's been years na di kita nakita ah” I said to her.

“Me too and when Tiffany's mom send us a invitation card I knew you where here” she said.

Mag jowa na talaga si Alwin and Kryzel since we were in 10th grade. Ang tagal na nga nila eh, nakakaingit.

“Oh nice to see you again bro,” Alwin said to Eroll.

I nervously smiled at them. I don't want to tell them that we broke up. And especially Yssa is here, magtatanong at magtatanong sya if why.

“You know him babe?” Kryzel asked her boyfriend.

“Not really, but I  saw him with Kourtney at the mall” Alwin answered.

“Oh you've finally got a boyfriend,” Kryzel happily said to me.

“A-Ahhh hahaha” I laughed nervously. I looked at Eroll and he just looking at me and waiting for my words. “Ah did you guys eat already?”

I changed the topic. I don't want to bring up that we've actually in relationship, I mean before not now.

“Hindi pa” Kryzel said.

“Come and join us then”sabi ko saka tinuro ang dalawang bakanteng upuan sa tabi ni Zarina and Ezekiel.

I introduced all my friends to them. Kami lang kasi ni Tiffany ang nakakakilala sa dalawang 'to kasi kaklase namin sila nung grade 10. Nagpatuloy na ako sa pagkain.

“Babe! Nandito ka lang pala” I looked up. And I saw Alexa walking towards to Eroll.

And hug him from behind of his neck. Babe? So official na sila!? Nang hindi ko alam?! Sabagay wala na nga pala akong karapatan na alamin pa ang buhay nya. His living his life the way it turns before. And Im going to do the same. I felt Yssa's hand held mine and smiled sadly.

Alexa ask Eroll to dance with him and he agreed. Nakita ko silang sumasayaw sa gitna with couples surrounded by the others couple. When I saw him laughing with that girlI feel like the whole world crushed on me.

“Ysabell let's dance” yaya ni Ezekiel kay yssa. Kaya napatingin ako sakanila

“I don't want to leave Kourt—”

“Just go Yssa. I will finish my food din, kaya sige na” sabi ko pa sakanya.

Pinilit ng pinilit ko pa sya hanggang sa napilit ko narin sya. Natatawa ako habang pinapanood ko kung paano magpakipot ang kaibigan ko kay Ezekiel. Tsk, eme-eme nya lang naman yan. Pero gustong gusto nya din. Seeing my friend happy make me happy too.  Pati si Tiffany ang saya nyang tingnan ngayon.
