Chapter 33: BROKEN HEARTS

                  KOURTNEY POV;

              IT WAS A freaking Monday. I get up and prepare myself to go to school. I get my towel and enter the bathroom. I shower at halos mapasigaw ako sa lamig ng tubig. Tiniis ko ang malamig na tubig hanggang sa matapos ako. I dry myself with my towel and I brush my teeth and step out the bathroom. I wore my uniform and blower my hair. As I finished preparing myself, I go down stair and saw them eating in the dining table.

Nagtungo lang ako kung saan nakasabit ang mga susi namin sa kotse when suddenly mom shouted...

“Kourtney, eat breakfast first!!” that's what she shouted.

Hindi nako sumagot at nagtungo sa may garahe. I opened the driver's door, and when I was about to hop in someone pulled my wrist. And it was kuya Clarence, with kuya Aiden.

“What?!” iritableng tanong ko.

“What's your problem?!” galit din na tanong ni kuya Clarence.

“I don't have a problem so let me go” I said. Pero hindi nya yun binitawan at mas hinigpitan pa.

“Why are you acting like this?” tanong naman ni kuya Aiden.

“Why? Oh come on, you guys no Idea why I'm being like this? Don't play around, I bet you know, so let go of me” I said.

I just glared at kuya Clarence. Atsaka nya naman ako binitawan.

“It's because we hide you the truth?” tanong ulit ni kuya Clarence.

“Tsk...”

“Kung yun nga, it's because we just want to protect you, do you not see that?” _kuya Aiden.

“Hah! If you really want to protect me, dapat sinabi nyo na simula palang! Para malaman ko kung sino ang mga dapat kong iwasan, hindi yung pinag mukha nyokong tanga sa mga nangyayari!” malakas na sabi ko sakanila.

I saw my two brothers come out with mom. At lumapit sila kila kuya.

“We—”

“Enough, I'll go ahead” sabi ko saka sumakay sa kotse ko at ini-start yun.

Automatic namang bumukas ang gate namin atsaka na ako nagmaneho papunta sa may University. Tsk, I don't know what is going to happened in school, especially si Eroll. Pareho kami ng University na pinapasukan, and most of our subject magkasama kami, kaya wala akong choice kundi magpakita talaga sakanya. When I reached the University, ay bumaba na ako ng kotse at naglakad sa may hallway.

Hindi kalayuan nakakita ako ng mga students na nagkukumpulan. Naglakad ako palapit doon, atsaka ko nakitang may binubully na naman sila Axia and her minions, na nerd na guy. Pinagpasapasahan nila ag glasses nito.

Nang makuha ni Axia ang glasses ng lalaki ay tumingin sya dito.

“You should leave this school loser, you don't belong here” she said.

“If he doesn't belong here, as if you do Axia” I interrupt.

I walked towards her and grab her wrist and get the boy eye glasses from Axia. And give it back to him.

“So you going to play a hero here Kourtney?” she asked me but I didn't bother myself to answer her.

Tinulungan kong makatayo yung lalaki at naglakad na kami palayo doon. I looked at Axia and I saw her face turned into red while looking at me. I looked away at naglakad na ulit kami nung lalaki.

I was looking back, when I heard some of the students gasp. I looked back and I saw Eroll holding Axia's wrist in the air. So she tried to slap me behind huh.

“You, touch her again I'll hit your head hard, so your tiny little brain will come out.” sabi ni Eroll sa mismong mukha ni Axia.

The students who heard what Eroll said was burst of laughing. Including me na napa smile sa sinabi ni Eroll.

“E-Eroll...” Axia nervously utter Eroll's name.

“Leave or else...”

Tumingin muna sakin si Axia saka padabog na naglakad kasunod ang mga minios nya. Such a bully. Bumaling naman ako sa lalaking tinulungan ko. His teary eyes was looking at me.

“Hey are you alright?” I asked him..

“Opo, salamat po. Maraming salamat po talaga” he said nonstop on thanking me.

“It's nothing. Basta wag mo ng hahayaang saktan ko ulit ng mga yun ha. If ever they do this again, report them to the guidance” I said at sunod sunod naman syang tumango.

Naglakad na sya papunta sa building ng course nya. Ako naglakad narin papunta sa room ni maam Mitch. When suddenly someone hold my hand, I know who is it. Naglakad sya papunta sa harapan ko, kaya nag iwas ako ng tingin.

“Hey are you hurt?” he asked.

“Tsk,”

“Look, I'm sorry.” he said.

I just rolled my eyes on him and pulled away my hand on him. Atsaka naglakad palayo doon, nang makasalubong ko na naman yung mga babae last time sa ladies room. She said she's famous here, but I didn't even know her name.

“Oh, having an argument with her Eroll?” she asked while pointing me.

“SHUT. UP” Matigas na sabi ni Eroll. But she just shrugged and looked at me.

“That was bad for your relationship, you know?” she said to me.

“So? The h*ll I care, you want him right? His all yours” I said as I walked away from them.

“What?! Kourtney!!” Eroll shouted pero nagpatuloy lang ako sa pagalakad.

Pagpasok ko sa room wala pa si maam kaya agad na akong naupo. Saka naman nag silapitan sakin ang mga kaibigan ko.

“Hey Kourtney kamusta ka??” si Tiffany.

“Is everything okay between you and Eroll??” Si Ysabell.

“Yeah we're good,” I answered.

“No you guys are not, did something happened between you two?” Tanong ulit ni Ysabell.

“Oo nga bebs, he looks pale last friday nung malaman nyang hindi ka pumasok.”

“Ahh may problema lang kami”

“Problema nga lang ba talaga?” tanong nila kaya napabuntong hininga ako.

“Fine, we broke up”

“What?!?!?!?”sabay na sigaw nila.

Saka naman dumating si Prof. Kaya bumalik na sila sa upuan nila. Ang mga kaibigan ko talaga alam kung kelan ako huhulihin sa akto eh. TSK......
