                    KOURTNEY POV:

1 YEAR LATER
 
                 IT'S been a year. I'm busy taking care of myself and also my son. Today was his first day of class and I'm going with him to his school today. I know he can do it.

“Mom is there scary teacher there?” my son asked habang binubutones ko ang uniform nya.

“There's a few but I know there's no strict teacher in your class” I answered.

“Really? Then I should follow dad said”

“Your dad said? What is it?”

Tanong ko habang inaayos ang bag nya. Saka ko hinawakan ang kamay nya at bumaba.

“Just talk to others if you want to make friends. At dapat always ako may topic para di daw maboring yung kausap ko that's what daddy said.” he said I nod awkwardly.

“Don't talk to your classmates while the teacher was discussing okay?” i said saka naman sya tumango tango.

I smiled at him as we got in to car. Habang nagmamaneho kami papunta sa school nila ay gumagamit sya ng ipad nya. Kaya umiling iling ako.

“Anak, I'm gonna get your ipad later” I said.

“Why?”

“It's gonna distract you from studying”

“Mommy, introducing ourselves palang later kasi first day of class”

“Kahit na it doesn't mean that you gonna bring your ipad inside your classroom”

“But mom!”

“Don't yelled at me Jasen Earl!”

“Hmp! I wish daddy was here, I know he gonna let me bring my ipad there” he whispered, but I hear it.

“Since he's not here you need to listen to me Jasen Earl”

“Fine” he said.

Nang makarating kami sa school nila ay agad kaming dumiretso sa may principal office, cause I had to talk to the principal. When we get there, I saw her talking to a guy. Agad naman syang napatingin sa pwesto namin.

“Oh miss Salvester” the principal said.

“Um.... I didn't mean to interrupt you, go ahead babalik nalang ako pagtapos na kayo magusap.. And also sorry I forgot to knock”

“No maam, we almost done talking right mister baldo??” the principal said.

Bumaling namin sakin yung guy. “Ah oo, at maam Principal salamat po aalis napo ako at sorry sa abala”

“It's nothing,”

“Alis napo ako” tugon ng lalaki saka nakayukong dumaan sa gilid namin ni Jasen.

“Upo kayo” sabi ni Maam Raquel. Kaya naupo kami ni Jasen. “What may I help you maam?”

“I just wanna say thank you sa pagtanggap sa anak ko and kung meron po kayong problem about dito kay Jasen you can call me anytime” saad ko.

“No worries maam, your son is safe here. “ she said.

“Thank you maam, um btw may I know what section he is?”

“Wait lemme check” saad nya saka may parang hinahanap na paper. “Here we go, what's his name again?”
