Chloe loved dancing. She loved clubbing. She loved music. She loved everything that encapsulated a party. Chloe was always lively. She was always a people person. She was a shining light of happiness and love. Chloe was the definition of love itself. She loved all animals. She loved her friends. She loved her family, and she was believed to be falling for a certain brunette that came to the same club every Saturday night. Chloe had never seen her before. The first time she saw her, she was celebrating what seemed to be a friend's birthday. It was obvious that the brunette wasn't in the party scene. Chloe could see and feel it from miles away. The way she stood stiffly and faked smiles when spoken to and only ordered an amateur drink of scotch with Coke. It seemed that she was the complete opposite of Chloe but that was all the more reason for her to take an interest.

Chloe had always been very fluid with her sexuality and didn't choose a side, that was until she saw tight, ripped jeans, combat boots, a flannel shirt, and chocolate-brown hair cascading over the shoulders of a five-foot-two woman. It was hard to see her through the flashing lights but Chloe was able to make out her face. It was stern. The heavy makeup didn't help but it drew Chloe in further. She came off mysterious because of it. Everything about her held some sort of secret that Chloe was desperate to uncover.

Soon, Chloe became a regular at the club all in hopes to find the woman again. Yes, she liked to dance, drink, and meet new people but, in the end, it was all for that woman. To Chloe's happiness, the brunette sat at the bar and ordered the same drink every time but what made it different was that the woman was alone and her eyes were always on Chloe. Chloe flushed under her gaze. She made sure to dance in her line of sight, patiently waiting for the woman to come and dance with her. Chloe was quick to memorise the woman's face. It was still stern but Chloe could see through it. She could see there was more to that woman than just dark clothing and a hard face. Chloe had to have her. It was out of her control. There was something about the woman that made Chloe infatuated. She waited and waited until she couldn't take it anymore.

"So, are you going to just sit there all night?" Chloe stood next to the woman, trying desperately not to giggle at her flushed face. Chloe was never a vain person but she knew the effect she had on people. She knew she was attractive. She knew she could have anyone she wanted but she was never one to abuse her looks.

Despite the roaring music and boisterous crowd, silence fell between the women. Chloe watched as the woman's mouth opened, words trying to form but failing.

"I'll take that as a yes," Chloe giggled. "Buy me a drink then?"

The woman nodded as Chloe ordered a shot. She was tempted to get the woman a proper drink but she didn't want to sit and chat. Not yet and not here.

"Thanks," Chloe raised her drink to the woman, watching her as she downed it. "So, I'll ask you again - are you going to just sit there? Or are you going to get up and dance with me?"

Chloe didn't think it was possible for someone's face to turn so red. Even with the erratic lighting, Chloe could see cherry red cheeks and she found it adorable and to push the woman further, Chloe leaned in, gripped the woman's thigh, and spoke into her ear.

"I've seen you looking at me, so come and dance."

A strange noise erupted from the other woman and Chloe took that as her cue to lead the woman onto the dancefloor. The woman was awkward. It was clear that she wasn't a dancer but Chloe had already assumed that. She was flustered and was clearly uncomfortable but through all of that, Chloe noticed that she never took her eyes off her. The look on her face wasn't one of lust or the like, but of mesmerisation. It was pure and it made Chloe feel something she hadn't felt with anyone before.

Chloe placed the woman's hands on her hips as she flung her arms around the woman's neck before she kissed her. Chloe had been kissed many times but this kiss was like fire. Chloe had never felt so alive and a kiss had never felt so right. Chloe knew that at that moment, at that club, with that woman, she was exactly where she needed to be.

"Can I take you on a date?" Chloe asked.

"A-a date?"

The woman was too cute and Chloe wanted her immediately.

"Yes," Chloe kissed the woman's ear sensually. "But I want to take you home first. I've been coming here every Saturday, waiting for you to dance with me. I can't wait anymore. Come home with me."

The woman initiated the next kiss, her arms tighening around Chloe and Chloe never wanted to leave a nightclub so badly in her life.

Upon returning to her apartment, Chloe was everything but gentle with the woman. She took her as if it was her last night on earth. The hours felt like mere minutes but it came to a time where both women were depleted. It was the best night of Chloe's life and that's when she remembered.

"I'm Chloe, by the way."

She looked at the woman beside her, redder than ever, making Chloe feel proud.

"Beca," the woman replied, smiling at her, and by that, Chloe knew that she would never be the same and she couldn't have been happier about it.
