"I HATE being pregnant..." Beca growled to her wife who was currently rubbing her lower back.
Beca was eight months pregnant and she was so sick and tired of it. This was Beca and Chloe's second baby after they had Emily five years ago. They loved their little girl to bits but they wanted another child. They were going to have another girl between them but they both decided they wanted a little boy instead so they got Jesse to help them out in that area. They wanted a good donor and Jesse was the first one who popped up and he was more than happy to help them out. So they used Chloe's egg with a bit of Beca's DNA mixed in there, too, to make the boy both Beca's and Chloe's. Beca and Chloe were over the moon when Beca fell pregnant and they were so excited to have another child but Beca was losing her patience rather quickly.
"No, you don't. You just hate being pregnant today," Chloe told her.
"I still hate it. I just want this little shit to be out of me already."
Chloe giggled at her wife, planting a gentle kiss on her shoulder. "You're so cute."
"You're pushing it, Mitchell. You know I don't do cute."
"You're cute to me."
Beca rolled her eyes as she tried to relax as Chloe rubbed her sore back.
"Mama!" Emily called out as she walked through the front door.
"In the living room, Em!" Chloe answered.
Little Emily Mitchell ran into the living room to see her mothers on the couch together. Chloe's mother, Cindy, was helping out this week with Emily. Usually, Beca and Chloe were good with looking after their daughter but because Beca was nearing the end of her pregnancy, things were a bit difficult so Beca and Chloe's respective parents volunteered to help with Emily, which they were more than happy to do.
"How's my baby brother?" Emily crouched down to Beca's belly and put her hands on it. "I can't wait to meet you, little baby bro."
Beca and Chloe smiled at their daughter as their hearts melted. They loved it when Emily interacted with her unborn baby brother. She was so excited to have a companion. She already had plans for him when he was born and Beca and Chloe were so happy that Emily was excited for the newest member of the family. The girl would talk to Beca's belly every day, saying how excited she was to meet him, what games they were going to play, what she was going to teach him, and more. It was a pure sight and the two mothers were so proud of how they raised their little girl. Beca had Chloe to thank for that though. Chloe was the sweeter, kinder parent and it was clear that Emily had inherited a lot of Chloe's traits. Neither mother wanted Emily to grow up. She was perfect the way she was and they wanted her to stay that way forever.
"How was preschool, baby?" Chloe asked her daughter.
"Good. Benji's asked me to go over to his house this weekend!"
"That little punk, huh?" Beca said.
"Beca," Chloe tutted. "We'll have to talk to his parents first, Em, okay? When I drop you off tomorrow I'll talk with his mother."
"Okay, mommy." Emily kissed Beca's stomach before standing up, grabbing her bag, and heading upstairs to her room.
"The boy seems nice," Cindy said, taking a seat next to her daughter and daughter-in-law.
"Yeah, he seems nice. That's how they get you," Beca stated.
"Becs, he's four," Chloe reminded her wife.
