The night wasn't as fun for Chloe as she would have liked. She constantly found herself watching - more like monitoring - Beca and Amber. She watched as Beca got Amber whatever drink she wanted then proceeded to dance with her and when Beca was tired, she left the dancefloor, allowing Amber to dance on her own or with strangers, which was so odd. When Chloe was dating Beca, she wasn't allowed to order what she wanted. She wasn't allowed to dance on her own let alone with strangers. Chloe wasn't allowed to do half the things Beca was allowing Amber to do. It was like Beca had changed her entire persona and Chloe knew it was because of the redhead who looked (not) surprisingly similar to Chloe.

"Baby, can we order pizza?" Amber asked as she sat on Beca's lap.

"Now?"

"Yeah! Hey, everyone! Did you want pizza?"

"Oh, yeah!"

"Yes, please!"

"For sure!"

"Definitely!"

"Extra pepperoni, please!"

"Pizza it is!" Beca grabbed her phone and began making an online order.

"Thank you, baby." Amber placed a kiss on Beca's cheek, causing Beca to lift her head so she could get a proper kiss on the lips.

The sight made Chloe shift uncomfortably and it didn't help that Chloe was sitting next to Beca in the booth they were sharing. Chloe was astounded by how easy things were for Amber. She didn't even have to try to get Beca to bend to her will. Whatever Amber wanted, she got and Beca allowed it. Beca and Amber told stories of their adventures such as when they went to amusement parks and went on scary rides and when they went swimming with sharks - things that Beca would have NEVER done in the past, especially with Chloe.

It wasn't fair. In Chloe's mind, it should have been her enjoying Beca's carefree and easy-going character - NOT Amber. And to make things worse, Beca was so happy with Amber. She was happy doing spontaneous things with her and she wasn't fussed on whether or not Amber wanted to do things on her own. It just wasn't fair and Chloe had the hardest time trying to wrap her head around it.

"Hey, Chlo, come and get a drink with me?" Aubrey asked, snapping the redhead's attention away from the couple next to her.

"Sure." Chloe was all too quick to get out of that booth and walk over to the bar.

"So, am I going to receive a phone call later tonight saying that you've been arrested for murder?"

"What?" Chloe frowned.

"Don't "what" me, Chlo. You know what I'm talking about."

"I really don't."

"You can't stand Amber and more so, you can't stand her with Beca."

"What? Don't be ridiculous!"

Aubrey raised her eyebrows.

"Seriously! I like Amber. She's a fun girl who knows how to have a good time and she's good for Beca. They're both happy together and it's good to see."

"So you're just over the moon whenever Amber kisses her and dances with her?"

"What are you getting at Aubrey?" She sighed frustratedly.

"Chloe, you still love Beca. I can see it in your eyes and I can see how painful it is for you whenever you watch Beca and Amber interact. You hate it. You cringe every time they kiss and you practically glare at them when they dance or are touching in some way. You hate all of it and I know you wish that was YOU doing all of those things with Beca."
