Idea by @bechloe119
Chloe Beale was one of Barden High's most talented Drama teachers, so much so that she was in charge of making the schools next musical, which was Chloe's third musical that she directed in a row. A lot of teachers envied the redhead's talent but Chloe always brought about a good show so it was only right for Chloe to direct the new musical. Chloe was more than happy to accept the job and lucky for the school, Chloe already had an idea in mind. The redhead had planned to make a modern-style musical about the 1788 poem Auld Lang Syne. The woman had written out a script and she was very pleased with it. All that was needed now was the musical numbers and that's where Chloe always had trouble. Yes, Chloe was talented but she wasn't as musically talented as her girlfriend who just happened to be a multi-platinum and diamond winner music producer and that woman was Beca Mitchell.
The two had been dating for just over ten years and Beca had been a well-known music producer for five of those years but no one ever knew that Beca and Chloe were dating. Chloe wasn't interested in fame so she wanted to keep her identity a secret and didn't want Beca's fame to interfere with her life as a teacher. Beca respected that and kept their relationship a secret from the public. It annoyed Beca from time to time since she wanted to take Chloe out on dates and do other things with her. Beca did do those things but not as freely as she would have liked since the paparazzi hunted the artist down as a lioness does with her prey. But again, Beca respected Chloe's wishes so she didn't push the idea of making their relationship public.
It was a long day for Chloe who was having trouble making the musical numbers and that's when she decided to go to Beca for help. She hated bothering Beca since she was always so busy with making her own music and Chloe thought the last thing Beca needed was to make music for a school musical. But she really needed Beca's help.
"Hey, Becs?" Chloe knocked on Beca's office door, which was a special room in Beca's mansion that the brunette used to make music and do her work that she wasn't able to get done in the studio.
"You can come in, Chlo," Beca chuckled.
Chloe opened the door and saw Beca sitting at her mixing board with a smile on her face.
"You don't need to knock," Beca told her. "This is your house just as much as it is mine."
That was true. The two of them lived in Beca's mansion ever since Beca bought it. After the two of them completed the USO Tour and after Beca got signed by DJ Khaled, Chloe traveled with Beca to L.A where they moved into their very first house, which was a drastic change from the tiny little apartment they shared with Fat Amy. They were happy they had more space and a nice place to settle down, which they fully intended to do with each other.
"I know but I know you don't like to be bothered when you work," Chloe explained.
"You can never bother me. It's when other people bother me that I have a problem. Now, what can I do for you?"
"I know you're busy but I need your help."
"What do you need my help with, babe?"
"Well... As you know, I'm in charge of the next school musical and I'm having trouble making the most important part - the music."
Beca nodded with a smile. "So, you've come to me to make some songs for you?"
"Yes," Chloe sighed. "I hate asking you but you're the best music producer out there and without you, I wouldn't have been able to make the musicals that I have in the past."
"Chlo, you're an amazing musical director. You make the whole damn thing from scratch, all I do is just make some songs for the kids to sing."
"Making music is hard for us simpletons, Becs."
