"I am NOT a softie!" Beca protests to the Bellas.
"You are so!" Stacie states.
"I'm NOT!"
"It's okay being a softie, babe," Chloe snakes her arm around Beca's neck and pulls her in to kiss her cheek.
Beca rolls her eyes, now hating to have agreed to come to the Bella reunion since they are all teasing how Beca is a complete softie for Chloe and their kids but Beca believes otherwise.
"I'm not soft..." Beca grumbles and Chloe thinks it's the most adorable thing ever.
"BM, face it - you are," Cynthia-Rose titters and Beca just rolls her eyes.
"It's okay to be soft, Beca!" Emily says happily. "It's really sweet!"
"Yeah, even your fans know you're soft," Fat Amy adds.
"I think you all need to shut up before I punch you in the teeth," Beca growls.
"Beca, you're a softie and we can prove it," Aubrey states. "Remember that time Chloe was sick and you looked after her?"
Seven years ago...
"Beca, you don't need to stay with me," Chloe moans out, her throat sore and voice weary.
"No, you looked after me when I was sick so I'm going to do the same. Now, what kind of soup would you like?"
"Beca,"
"Chloe, I'm not arguing with you so tell me."
Chloe huffs a laugh. "Pumpkin, please."
"Pumpkin soup for my pumpkin," Beca presses a kiss to Chloe's nose before tucking the mountain of blankets under her chin as she leaves for the kitchen.
"Hey, am I going to get some soup?" Stacie asks.
"No, this is for Chloe," Beca states.
"Softie."
"Shut up."
Present-day...
"Okay, but in fairness, Chloe did the same to me so it was only right that I repaid the favour," Beca justifies.
"Oh, and I'm sure Chloe repaid you for that really well, didn't she?" Fat Amy smirks again.
Chloe blushes and Beca rolls her eyes.
"Oh! And don't forget about that time we went shopping and Chloe didn't have enough money to buy that shirt she liked," Jessica says.
Six years ago...
"Oh! What do you think, Bec?" Chloe asks, holding up a baby blue button-up shirt.
"Yeah, it looks good."
"I've been looking for a shirt like this for ages! You wouldn't think that something so simple would be so hard to find would you?"
"I suppose not..." She shrugs, completely uninterested in their shopping trip but, of course, she does it for Chloe not that she'd admit that to anyone but the redhead obviously.
Chloe smiles at the shirt then looks at the price. "Oh..."
"What?"
"Nothing." Chloe puts the shirt back on the rack.
