Beca's POV

It's been a week since Chloe's car accident. She was on her way home from work one evening while it was raining heavily. She was pulling up to our area of the neighbourhood when a teenager raced down the street and turned the corner way too quickly where he hit my wife with his daddy's corvette. I was ready to kill the fucker but he suffered a bunch of injuries and is in critical condition but that's not going to stop me from suing his ass big time. I'm a famous music producer and he crashed into my wife. He's going to get a rude shock when he wakes up and not just because of his injuries. He and his rich father will have a lot of reparations to pay after this.

It's been a long week and Chloe has finally woken up. I was over the moon when she woke up but not so much when she couldn't remember who I was. She had no idea who I was, where she was, who SHE was... It was so crazy. The doctors say that she's got amnesia and the worst part about it is that she might not ever get her memory back. I don't like to think about that though. There is still a chance that she CAN get it back and I'm going to try everything in my power to make sure she does. I'll be with her every step of the way. I promised to look after her in sickness and in health, regardless if she remembers me saying that on our wedding day or not. I'm not going to leave her side no matter what.

I've told the Bellas about Chloe's accident and situation since I'll need all the help I can get in regards to getting her memory back. The Bellas were supportive as they usually are, which I'm extremely thankful for. My parents and Chloe's parents are going to help in any way they can, too. Thankfully, my stepmother, Shelia, is a nurse so she'll be one of the biggest helpers. She's already told me a bunch of things to do when I take Chloe home, which I plan to execute straight away. I don't want Chloe to not remember me or anything else in her life. It's so weird talking to her. It's like she's a completely different person. She doesn't remember me and it breaks my heart but I have to stay strong. I had a little cry in the bathroom when I was told she had amnesia but I'll be sure not to cry around Chloe.

Right now, I'm packing up my things and Chloe's things so we're ready to go home. She's dressed in jeans, a pink top, and sandals. She looks beautiful as always and even though she doesn't remember me, I still see my gorgeous wife Chloe who I know still loves me, even if she can't remember. I told her that I was her wife and told her how we met and all of that stuff. She couldn't remember a thing but she just listened and took it all in. I asked her about her accident but she can't remember what happened or anything else surrounding that. It's truly heartbreaking.

"Ready to go, baby?" I ask.

"Ah... Yeah," she nods.

"Okay. Come on then." I extend my hand to her.

She looks at it for a moment then takes it and stands up. I smile at her and walk her out of her room.

"I don't remember coming here at all..." Chloe utters, looking around the hospital.

"That's okay, baby. Don't stress." I rub her hand, which makes her flush.

"Mrs. Mitchell," Hank, my personal bodyguard approaches me.

"Yes?"

"There's a crowd outside - fans and paparazzi."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"I thought they were told to leave the premises?"

"They were but they came back. The police are making a barricade now."

"Police?" Chloe says. "What's happening? Are we in trouble? Are we in danger?"

"No, baby," I rub her hand again then look at Hank. "Can we go out the back or anything?"
