"You are the world's biggest sook you know that?" Chloe giggled as she made a cup of tea.

"I am not!" Beca whined from the fold-out bed that she and Chloe shared. "Now, hurry up and get back here. I'm cold."

"Not a sook... Whatever you say, babe."

Beca grumbled then pulled the many blankets she engulfed herself in up to her chin. It was wintertime, meaning that the flu was going around like the black plague and unfortunately for Beca, she had caught the virus and it was not kind to her. Beca had a good immune system. She would be able to avoid catching a lot of things but when she got sick, it hit her hard. Beca hated being sick but it wasn't all bad since Chloe, the loving girlfriend that she was, always looked after her.

"Okay, one tea for me and one cup-a-soup for you." Chloe put her mug down on the bedside table then gave Beca hers.

"Thank you," Beca's voice was low and croaky but Chloe thought it was incredibly sexy.

"You're welcome. Sit up to drink it."

"Mph," Beca pouted as she slowly moved her achy body up so she could indulge herself in her cup-a-soup, which was chicken soup with alphabet noodles that just happened to be Beca's favourite kind of soup.

It was only a secret that Chloe knew, of course. Beca still had a reputation to uphold so whenever Beca was sick, Chloe always went to the store to get several packets of alphabet cup-a-soup and made sure to hide them from Fat Amy. Chloe didn't care but she knew how important Beca's badass reputation was to her even though it was absent when she was with Chloe. To the world, Beca was a badass who was a force to be reckoned with but to Chloe, she was a total softie who was cuddlier than a teddy bear.

"How's that, cutie?" Chloe asked, sliding back into bed.

"Mm... That's the good stuff."

"Good." Chloe planted a kiss on the brunette's head then drank her tea.

Beca drank more of her cup-a-soup before putting it down and clinging to Chloe's side.

"You're so cute," Chloe stated, grabbing her laptop and bringing up her vet notes whilst drinking her tea and gently stroking Beca's hair.

"I'm not cute, Beale - I'm badass."

"Becs, I love you but you're a softie. You may be a badass to everyone else but to me, you're my adorable, little munchkin."

Beca grumbled at the redhead. If she wasn't sick and cold, she would have pulled away from Chloe but she needed the warmth and even though Beca never admitted it, she was very clingy whilst she was sick. There was something about the flu that made Beca want cuddles all day and all night but only from Chloe and Chloe loved it.

"Do you have to go to school tomorrow?" Beca mumbled.

"Yes, baby. It's compulsory and even if it wasn't, I'd still go because I need all of the good grades I can get."

"Mm..." Beca moaned, irritated.

"You're such a baby," Chloe laughed. "But I adore you when you're like this."

"And you don't adore me when I'm NOT like this?"

"Oh, cut it out. You know that's not what I meant."

"If you say so..." She teased.

Chloe rolled her eyes and kissed Beca's head. Too tired to protest further, Beca simply snuggled into her girlfriend's side more and closed her eyes. The brunette didn't like being without Chloe while she was sick but she knew how important Chloe's vet school was to her. Vet school was very demanding and Chloe had put in a lot of effort to get to the top of her class and she wanted to stay at the top until she graduated. Beca couldn't have been prouder of the love of her life but there were times where she just wanted Chloe to forget about vet school and just stay in bed all day.

Chloe wished so much that she could skip school and just be with Beca but again, it was important to her so skipping class just wasn't an option. It was going to be a long week for both Beca and Chloe since Beca had only recently just caught the flu and the following day was Monday, meaning that Beca had to wait another long, grueling five days until she could spend the whole day in bed with her woman. However, Beca didn't choose to think about that. Instead, Beca relaxed into Chloe's side and began drifting off to sleep while Chloe studied. Chloe looked down at Beca and noticed that she was now fast asleep, making the redhead smile and kiss Beca's head softly. It was moments like those that Chloe knew Beca was the one for her and that there was no way in the world that she could have loved anyone else more than Beca.
