Chapter XVIII - Bechloe: DJ's, Strippers, and Jealous Fiancés

Beca Mitchell likes strippers. There. It's out there. In fact, it's been out there for quite some time. The world-famous DJ made headlines every week stating how the woman would go into one of the strip clubs in Los Angeles and spend hours there. There would be photos of Beca sitting in the VIP lounge watching women dance for her. Everyone went crazy for the news. Beca's sexuality was always a bit of a mystery to her fans but this just confirmed that Beca prefered women over men. Beca never divulged any of her personal life to the public and she was quite good about doing so but this time was different. This time she didn't care. Beca went to the strip club to try something new, to see whether or not she was gay and as soon as she saw beautiful women dancing half-naked to sensual music, Beca knew one-hundred per cent that she was gay and what really drove it home was one dancer in particular.

The dancer had curly red hair and bright blue eyes. She was beautiful in every way and Beca was mesmerised by her every move. She was the most beautiful woman Beca had ever seen and it didn't take Beca long to request a private dance with the redhead. Beca quickly learned that the woman's name was Chloe Beale and the two would often have a nice chat while Chloe gave Beca a private dance. This had been going on for several months and Beca was now going to the strip club three times a week, which caused a massive boom in business for the company. A passel of celebrities and other rich people came to the club once they found out that Beca was a regular. The club automatically made Beca an honorary member but Beca didn't care about that. All she cared about was the gorgeous Chloe Beale who Beca was uncontrollably falling for.

However, despite Beca's intense feelings for the redhead, she also learned that Chloe was engaged and had been for quite some time. She was engaged to a military man by the name of Chicago Walp. He was a nice man and he treated Chloe well but he spent more time away from Chloe than with her. It wasn't entirely his fault though. Chicago was recently promoted and required to do more work but in saying that, he didn't always have to go to work. He had the option to let another person of the same rank fill in for him but Chicago always went when he was called. Chloe didn't think much of it to begin with, in fact, she admired her finaceé for being so determined and willing to do his job to the best of his ability. But then it began to eat away at her and soon enough, Chicago's little work trips that were only met to last a day or so stretched out to several days then to a week and then some. Chloe began to forget what it was like to have someone by her side and have someone love her how she wanted and needed to be loved.

It broke her heart when she realised that Chicago was always going to be a working man and always put his job first. When asked about it, Chicago said that he wanted to climb higher up the ladder so Chloe wouldn't have to work at the strip club anymore. Chloe appreciated his reasons but the strip club gave Chloe a good wage. Chloe wasn't much of a fan of being a stripper but that all changed when Beca Mitchell walked through the door. Chloe had been crushing on Beca for years and she would secretly fantasise about the brunette more often than she would have liked to admit. As soon as she gave Beca her first private dance, it was clear there was chemistry between the two of them. Both of them knew it. Both of them could feel it and the sexual tension was driving them crazy. Chloe knew it was wrong to feel that way towards another when she was engaged but Chicago wasn't there for her anymore. Chloe needed more and if Chicago was going to climb the ranks, it would only be a matter of time before he wasn't there for Chloe at all. Chloe couldn't have that. She needed someone to be there for her and she had her eyes set on Beca.

Chloe came home from another successful shift at the club where she finished with giving Beca her private dance. Beca wasn't like any other patron who treated Chloe like she was a toy or an object. Beca treated Chloe as if she were a queen. She appreciated Chloe's body and Chloe as a person. Even the way Beca looked at Chloe was different. There was something in Beca's eyes that Chloe knew to be genuine and Chloe wasn't sure how much longer she would be able to suppress her urges.
