It's been several months since the love of your life was taken from you. You still wake up in a cold sweat after dreaming about her or sometimes, you cry because you dreamt about her. You first met Chloe Beale in college. You were nineteen and she was twenty-two and it was love at first sight. She invaded your shower and begged you to audition for the Barden Bellas. You were reluctant but you ended up at the auditions and got in straight away. The following night at a party, you and Chloe addressed the elephant in the room. You kissed then went back to her dorm to make love and the rest was history.

Chloe was the only person you let your guard down for. She was out of this world. She was amazing. You had never met anybody like Chloe before in your life and you knew as soon as you met her that you were never going to meet anybody even close to her either. Chloe was your world and you gladly got on hand and foot for that woman because she was the love of your life and you KNEW that you were going to graduate Barden together and start the next chapter of your lives together, which you did. You moved into a tiny studio apartment with Chloe and your best friend Fat Amy. Living conditions weren't ideal and one of you complained at least once a day about something that needed fixing in the apartment (it was mostly you but you knew that the others were thinking the exact same thing).

After three years of living in a couped up space, you finally got your big break as a music producer where you were signed by DJ Khaled and the next part of your life took off from there. It was a total culture change and world change, for that matter and you were so glad that Chloe was with you every step of the way. Chloe traveled with you whenever she could. When you got signed by DJ Khaled, Chloe had just finished vet school and was a qualified vet so she was eager to start the career she always wanted and one you supported. Chloe loved animals and from a young age, she always wanted to work with them and it was the only job you could really see her doing. That or being a teacher. Chloe always had a big heart and you knew she was going to use it one way or another.

Once your life was stable, you and Chloe bought a house together and not too long after, you proposed and she couldn't have said yes quick enough. Your wedding day was the best day of your life. You married your best friend and the woman you were going to dedicate the rest of your life to. You had never experienced such a high level of happiness in your life. That was until Chloe fell pregnant with your baby. About two years after you wed, you and Chloe decided to have a baby together. You were a little apprehensive since you didn't know if you were cut out to be a mother and didn't know if you were going to be a good one. You were worried that you would end up like your mother who walked out on you and your dad when you were a kid but Chloe reassured you that you were going to be the best mother out there and besides, you knew in your heart that there was NO WAY you were going to walk out on your wife and child.

When your daughter Vera was born, you were so overwhelmed with emotion. You cried as did Chloe at the birth of your first baby girl. She was a tiny baby with a tussle of red hair and bright blue eyes. It was clear from that moment that she was going to look like Chloe but you were okay with that. You were more than okay with it because Chloe was the most beautiful woman you had ever laid your eyes upon and you were hoping that all of your kids would look more like Chloe than you. About a day after Chloe gave birth, you went home and you started to raise your daughter with your wife who was exceptional at caring for a baby. You were a bit rusty but you got the hang of it pretty quickly.

Unfortunately, after Chloe's pregnancy, she contracted pneumonia, which was quite aggressive. Chloe was so sick you had to get her parents to look after Vera for weeks and what made things even more heartbreaking was that Chloe was unable to see her daughter until she got better. The whole recovery process took about a month and thankfully, Chloe was able to get back on track with her life. You were scared that you were going to lose Chloe but you knew she was a fighter and you knew she wasn't going to give up, especially that you just had a child together.
