After a successful first year at Barden University, it was time for Beca to move out of her dorm and into the Bellas House. The Bellas House was a beautiful building on the Barden campus. It was two-stories with a grey tiled roof and white walls. The front door was blue as were the rain shutters. Above the window on the right-hand side was a blue B, the symbol for the Bellas. There was a nice green lawn out the front of the house with trees, bushes, and flowers surrounding it. The house and its landscape were simply beautiful and it was undeniably one of the most beautiful houses on campus.
Beca was excited but also nervous about moving into her new home. Beca liked being alone - it was her solace. She didn't mind her dorm since she only shared it with one other person who barely spoke to her. Their interactions weren't pleasant but they both kept to themselves, which Beca liked. However, all of that was about to change. Beca was going to live in a two-story house with a bunch of girls who were loud and didn't understand the concept of privacy and personal space - something that Beca found a necessity to have. But there was one person who had absolutely no boundaries and that person was Chloe Beale, also known as Beca's girlfriend.
The two had begun dating not too long after Beca began studying at Barden. It was aca-initiation night when Chloe kissed Beca for the first time and led the girl to her room where they made love. Beca hadn't met anyone like Chloe before and wasn't used to someone being so forward. Chloe didn't care about anything yet she was so kind, caring, and the most likeable person anyone could have ever met. Beca fell for the beautiful redhead instantly and didn't understand why Chloe fell for her but she chose not to question it too much.
The brunette had been up late the night before packing away all of her things for her move the following day. That, and the fact that Chloe kept her up late by texting her, saying how excited she was for Beca to move into the Bellas House. Beca loved how excited Chloe was but she knew that she would have to kiss her privacy goodbye since there was no way she was going to be left alone when she moved in. Another thing to note was that Beca wasn't getting a room of her own. The house may have been two-stories but there were nine women living in it with only so many rooms so people had to share. Chloe used to share a room with Aubrey but now that Aubrey had left, Chloe was able to claim a new roommate and it was obvious who that was.
Beca wasn't one for being close to people. In fact, she needed space from people to have a good relationship with them. But that changed once she started dating Chloe. The redhead was the opposite of Beca and that was one of many reasons why Beca believed they got on so well. There was something different about Chloe, something special, and Beca just couldn't put her finger on it. Whenever someone tried to get close to the moody little alt-girl, Beca would put up walls and push people away until they left her alone. It was lonely but it was easier for her that way. That was until Chloe came along. Beca didn't know how she did it but Chloe managed to break down Beca's walls and see the real Beca. The brunette was vulnerable but once Chloe accepted Beca for who she was, it made it easier for the alt-girl to open up more.
When Beca arrived at the Bellas House, she didn't have to wait five seconds until the door was answered and not surprisingly, it was Chloe who greeted Beca with a beaming grin.
"There she is! Welcome to your new home!" Chloe flung her arms around Beca and pulled her in for a tight hug.
"Hey, Chlo," Beca chuckled, hugging her back.
"Are you ready?"
"You make it sound so ominous."
"It'll be great! Come on!"
Chloe helped Beca with her things and led her into her new bedroom, which had Chloe written all over it. There was a double bed in the middle of the room with colourful bed sheets and fairy lights wrapped around the frame of the bed, a wall dedicated to pictures of Chloe and her friends, a desk with a laptop and books on it, and a white, fluffy rug in the middle of the room. Chloe's style was the complete opposite of Beca's and the brunette was going to have to make some changes if she were to remain sane living in this room for the next three years.
