"Tell Mr. Smith that I won't borrow it at more than two percent,"
"Yes, ma'am."
"And call Miss Richards and tell her to pay her amenities fee or else it will double."
"Yes, ma'am. Is there anything else?"
"Call my PA into my office, please."
"Yes, ma'am." The receptionist left Aubrey's office as the blonde sat at her desk and sighed.
Aubrey Posen was one of the world's most successful entrepreneurs. She took a risk to get to where she was and worked hard but it was worth it in the end. Now, she was the CEO of a major conglomerate that allowed Aubrey to own big-name companies all over the world and invest in them as well. Aubrey was a multi-millionaire and soon to be a billionaire with all of the money she was making and saving. Aubrey was very money savvy and she knew how to run a business effectively and swiftly. She had become a big figurehead for businesswomen all over the world, which Aubrey was passionate about in encouraging and supporting to help there be more female CEO's and female-operated and owned businesses.
Aubrey loved her job but there were times where things got challenging. Aubrey just finished a meeting with the head director or another major company who was wanting to make a deal with Aubrey's company but wasn't budging on the terms and conditions. It was long and tiresome but Aubrey managed to bend things in her favour as she did with everything. Aubrey was known for her ruthlessness and boldness. Some people found it intimidating and sometimes rude but people knew Aubrey meant business and knew she wasn't to be trifled with so they didn't mess around with her. Aubrey was a busy woman so she didn't have time for games.
"You wanted to see me, Miss Posen?" Stacie Conrad, Aubrey's personal assistant entered her office.
"Yes, where have you been?"
"Just ordering your lunch."
"After flirting with Jameson?"
"What?" Stacie frowned.
"Don't what me, Conrad. I saw you two. He was flirting with you and you didn't stop him. You're leading him on."
"I am not!" Stacie laughed.
"You are. Now come here," Aubrey snapped.
Stacie swallowed hard and made her way over to the angry blonde. Aubrey watched her PA carefully, standing from her desk and walking in front of it. Stacie stopped when she reached her boss.
"Do you have any idea how it makes me feel when I see you flirting with other people?" Aubrey spoke in a low but firm tone.
"Y, yes... But I wasn't flirting-"
"Shh!" Aubrey silenced. "He was flirting with you and you weren't stopping him and you know how I feel about that." Aubrey snaked her hand into Stacie's hair then clenched.
"Ah," Stacie hissed then bit her lip.
She loved it when Aubrey got rough with her.
"What do you have to say for yourself?"
"I'm sorry..."
Aubrey raised her eyebrows at her.
"I'm sorry, Miss Posen. I shouldn't have led him on."
"Damn right you shouldn't have." Aubrey leaned in and attacked Stacie's mouth, making the brunette groan and tremble.
Stacie and Aubrey had been seeing each other secretly for several months now and it was the sexiest thing they had ever done in the lives. It was exciting, risky, and such a turn on for both of them. Stacie was Aubrey's newest PA and there was an instant attraction between them. Aubrey was never interested in relationships but that all changed when Stacie came along. Stacie, on the other hand, was a bit rebellious and liked to have fun and she wasn't afraid of having a good time and having flings with people but that changed when she met Aubrey. Stacie wasn't sure what it was about the blonde but she drove Stacie crazy and Stacie wanted nothing else than to be with Aubrey.
