Beca Mitchell hated shopping. Chloe Beale loved shopping. Beca and Chloe were dating. Do you see the problem? Beca was quick to say no whenever one of her friends asked her out shopping or out somewhere that would require shopping in the future. Beca didn't like aimlessly wandering around different shops looking for random things. Beca only went shopping when she needed something. She didn't see the point in looking for something that she could potentially buy when she could be putting her time to better use. Beca was very practical like that but a buzzkill at the same time. So, if it wasn't obvious, Beca had trouble making friends but for some reason, the Bellas loved Beca and Beca loved them, too, not that she ever (well, very rarely) admitted it. Beca had a badass reputation to uphold and she wasn't going to let anyone take that from her. That was until a certain redhead with bright, blue eyes and a pristine, white smile came along.

Beca had no clue what happened when she met Chloe and as cheesy as it sounds, it was love at first sight for both women. Beca thought that Chloe was the most beautiful girl she had ever seen and wasn't in the slightest bit mad when Chloe barged into her shower on her first day at Barden. Okay, well, she was a little mad but you would be, too if someone invaded your privacy and forced you to sing for them stark naked. Beca wasn't happy but she totally checked out the redhead and it was an image Beca never forgot. Similarly, on the other hand, Chloe thought Beca was absolutely adorable and badass. Chloe had always loved the badass look but the fact that Beca was small and grumpy made Chloe fall for her even more. Most people were intimidated by Beca and avoided her but Chloe couldn't get enough of the alt-girl.

Once they started dating, Chloe soon realised that she was able to get Beca to bend to her will and it didn't take much. Sometimes though, when Beca was being super stubborn, Chloe had to pull out the big guns, which was usually the promise of sex and that was a sure way to get Beca to do pretty much ANYTHING Chloe desired. Beca hated herself for it but she had no power when it came to Chloe and Chloe knew it. So, that leads us to now - Beca getting dragged along by her girlfriend who was happily looking at clothes.

"Oh! I like this top, Becs, what do you think?" Chloe pulled off a blue button-up shirt from the rack and brandished it to her girlfriend.

"Yeah, that's nice."

"Becs," she tutted.

"What?"

"You've said that about every shirt I pick up." Chloe put the shirt back on the rack and continued pursuing through the clothes.

"Well, I'm not lying. I mean, I wouldn't wear it but it'd look good on you."

"I know you're not into shopping but at least try to be happy."

"I am happy."

"You and I both know that's not true and we both know that you'd rather be at home making mixes."

"I still like being with you, babe, you know that. I mean, we've been together for four years now."

"I do."

"Hey," Beca stopped the redhead, making the older woman turn to her. "You know I don't like shopping but I like being with you."

"I know."

"Good." Beca leaned in and gave Chloe a peck then followed her.

"We still need to figure out what outfits we're going to wear when we go to the Worlds."

"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. What were you thinking?"

"Well, I think it's important that we wear our Bellas scarf."

"When have we NOT worn them, Chlo?" She chuckled.

"I know but it's important."

Beca smiled at the redhead. The Bellas were Chloe's life and she got so passionate about everything Bella related. It was one of the many things Beca admired about Chloe. Beca loved being a Bella but not as much as Chloe did. Chloe failed Russian literature three times so she could be a Bella (and to be with and graduate with Beca, of course).
