"Alright, Kurt, are you ready?!" I shouted.

"Yes!" He put on a polo and jean shorts-his non ripped jean shorts-and did nothing with his hair. "You look stunning." He pecked my lips with a soft kiss.

"Thank you," I was wearing a black silky dress that showed off my non-existent cleavage, which Kurt couldn't resist looking at.

Melissa started being fussy, so I put in her binky and rocked her softly in her carseat.

"Is the diaper bag ready?" I asked.

"Good to go," Kurt gave me a thumbs-up.

"Where is Lorelai?"

"Still getting ready."

"Oh my God," I groaned. "We're going to be late!"

"Ruby, calm down. I'm going to go and put everything in the car, you go get Lorelai."

I rushed upstairs as quickly as I could and checked on Lorelai. She was sitting in the corner and kicking her feet into the wall.

"Lorelai," I raised my voice. "What are you doing?!"

"I don't like my socks!"

"Then put on your flip-flops. Come on, we're going to be late!"

She ran downstairs with me, put on her flip-flops, then got into the car. I checked downstairs to make sure we had everything, then rushed into the car.

I buckled myself up and then Kurt drove to Krist's and Shelli's house where they would watch Lorelai and Melissa. Dave was also helping, too.

When we pulled up, we all went inside and I explained Melissa's sleeping schedule to Shelli.

"I wrote it down on a piece of paper," I handed the paper to her. "I also wrote down when she eats and her bottles are in the diaper bag. Play games with Lorelai or something-engage with her. She's been feeling really left out lately with the baby and everything, so it'll be good for her to get the attention that she needs."

I hugged them, thanked them, then Kurt and I got into the car and drove to the theater.

"You know, James Hetfield said something about our baby," Kurt randomly said.

"He WHAT?!"

"Shh. He congratulated us on our baby."

"Oh wow."

"What? Are you star struck?"

"No. He's ugly now-that moustache does not look good on him."

"I was thinking that maybe if you wanted to, he could meet her?"

"You're being serious?"

"Yes. I reached out to him and everything-it's up to you."

"That would've been a nice surprise, Kurt. God, why do you have to spoil everything?"

He chuckled and held my hand, then softly kissed it. "You are beautiful, Ruby."

"Thank you," I kissed his cheek. "We need to go to the gym."

"We?!"

"I'm not calling you fat-I just don't want to there all by myself. My baby fat from Melissa is not going anywhere. My stomach makes it look like I am bloated."

"Ruby, that's alright. You-"

"No, Kurt. I'm saying that I don't like it."

"Okay. Then we'll go to the gym, okay?"
