The drive back home was silent, none of them speaking up and actually enjoying the silence. Normally, Tommy would hate the way it was so quiet and start talking about random topics. Dream always said something or either forced Tommy to talk so silence was never really a thing whenever he visit. Younger Tommy would argue, but now the routine was beaten so deep in his mind that he had to bite his tongue to stay quiet.
This time however the silence was oddly comfortable for him and judging by Aizawa's expression, he also didn't mind. It wasn't hard to just zone out and observe the once again moving buildings outside. There was a random music playing in the background but no one seemed to be bothered by it, since it was playing rather softly and quietly.
The back seats wre packed with bags full of clothes and other accessories that Aizawa basically pushed in Tommy's arms since he said he will need them later. Especially once he starts school. Sure, he will have to catch up with all the notes and classes he missed but he was sure he will manage. And if he won't understand something or will have a hard time studying, he can always ask Aizawa for help. Gotta take care of the child that he basically adopted."Do you know when I will start school?" Tommy asked, breaking the silence.
Aizawa seemed to think for a moment before glancing down at Tommy.
"One week at most. We still have to prepare papers for you and put you as one of the students in the papers" Aizawa said.
Tommy nodded, before a question popped inside his head.
"So like fake documents? With name, quirk, past and all that?" He asked straight away.
"Yes, all of that. Of course all of the staff will be informed about your situation but we won't share the news with any of the students since it might.. confused them a little. Also, we don't want the villains to know about you" Aizawa replied with his eyes glued to the road.
Having fake documents sounded fine and normally would be considered illegal but hey, heroes can do this type of things, right? Then it hit him. God.
"Please tell me I won't have to memorize it all" he said, knowing damn well the answer.
"You won't have to" Aizawa said catching Tommy by surprise.
He looked up, hope in his eyes as he glared at the side of Aizawa's head.
"Really?!" He screamed, watching as Aizawa smirked.
"No."
Tommy groaned in annoyance, slumping in his seat as he crossed his arms over his chest. Aizawa chuckled, ruffling his hair with his free hand while Tommy tried to scratch at it playfully.
"You didn't think I would memorize it for you and introduce you to everyone, would you?" He raised his eyebrows and waiting for an answer.
"Well no but I was hoping for some help or a little note with it!" Tommy said, still glaring at the black haired man.
Aizawa smirked again, rolling his eyes at the kid.
"What are you laughing at old man?!" Tommy yelled, face scrunched in annoyance as he tried to look intimidating.
"Oi! Who are you calling an old man?!" Aizawa reached his hand over and smacked Tommy in the back of his head.
Tommy let out a loud groan, one hand massaging the back of his head on hope to ease the stinging pain.
"What was that for?!" He asked, pout visible on his face.
"You need to treat older's with respect" Aizawa said. "Especially your teachers and other heroes. That way they will also treat you with respect"
