"Mind telling me why there's a freaking bird in my house?" Aizawa asked, watching the said bird hop on his table.
Tommy and Hawks sat by the table, eating some snacks and watching the bird, occasionally throwing it some smaller pieces of food which were happily consumed by the black animal.
It spared his a glance, eyes dark like night looking him up and down no intensely it felt like he was being judged. Tommy only waved to him, eyes never leaving the animal."So? Is someone gonna explain it to me? Or should I throw all the chicken nuggets out?" Aizawa asked, finally catching Hawks' attention.
"Tommy told me that this belongs to his father, which basically means it's supposed to be in L'manburg and not here." Hawks said, trining his attention back to the bird.
"So you're telling me that this bird right here comes from the exact same place as Tommy? Then how the hell is it here?" Aizawa asked.
Tommy reached out his hand with a small piece of bread go offer it to the Crow, which in return gently took it from him, careful to not accidentally hurt him in the process.
"I'm not sure? We were driving from Fuji-Sama's restaurant and he was sitting in the middle of the road. I recognized him and brought him in, so he's staying with us" Tommy exclaimed.
Aizawa knew there was no way Tommy would change his mind. One of many things he learned about Tommy is that if he wants something, he will get it. So instead of arguing, he decided to just ask questions for now.
"If he's staying here, I want to at least know something about all this"
Tommy patted the empty space next to him which Aizawa gladly took, placing his keys on the table and grabbing a piece of popcorn.
"As you know, my father was an avian like me. He was a crow and just like all avians, we got the ability to communicate and understand birds that were the same species as our other part. He could talk with Crows and over time he managed to befriend few hundreds of them and gain their trust, which resulted in them following him around and often helping with stuff. They would talk, report things to him, bring some shiny treasure and things like that. Ghost here was one of the birds that followed him." Tommy told Aizawa the same thing he told Hawks, word in word.
Aizawa only nodded, having to process the information in his brain for a second before a question popped in his head.
"I'm pretty sure you're not a crow, are you kid?"
Tommy chuckled, smirking at Aizawa who narrowed his eyes.
"Of course I'm not. I'm a parrot so I can talk to them. The thing is, someone had to play with my other part and mess something up because I can also understand Crows. Maybe it was my mother or maybe Dream or even a random God that decided to play around. The things is I don't know how that happened. I know that Ghost was one of the few Crows that I've known for a long time jow. He basically grew up by my side, which is kinda odd since Crows don't have a really long lifespan. Again, maybe someone made him immortal or something" He said, tracing his finger down Ghost's neck.
The Crow froze for a second, it's black eyes glancing up at Tommy who only smiled softly. It seemed to relax and give in to the affection, closing it's eyes in the safety of it's friend's hold.
