The free period went on longer than usually, the silence that filled the class almost taunting them the whole time. The class parted ways, each joining their respectful friends group to kill the time.
As expected, Kirishima took his seat next to Kaminari and Mina, all sitting around Bakugou who seemed to be pissed at something just like any other day. But instead of drowning in their usual conversations and making joke after joke, their table was deadly quiet as each of them ate their food.
Kirishima felt lost for some reason. He saw the way Tommy ran out of the class only to not return for the next class, the way his eyes held panic in them and how fast his chest moved. Only stupid wouldn't notice that he was on the verge of a panic attack and having trouble focusing on his way out after almost slamming into the doors. So now he sat in silence, his mind running miles per second to try and wrap his head around the previous events. The first thing he needed to remember was who started the rumor and where they heard it.

Before the first class, when only a few students were present in the class, some students of Class 1-B stumbled into their class with Monoma at the front. The moment that happened, Kirishima knew there was nothing good about to happen. Hell, the smug look Monoma used to cast over the class was enough to tell them he was there to mess with them again. However, what they would hear next was nowhere close to what they expected.

"Huh. The birdie isn't in class yet? No wonder why" Monoma snickered to himself, his words catching the attention of everyone present in the room.

It was Iida who stood up, the class president being the first one to confront the blonde.

"It isn't polite to barge into a classroom without knocking! You should be in your class by now!" Iida said, his words being accompanied by the weird hand gestures.

Monoma only furrowed his eyebrows at him and rolled his eyes, informing the next comments.

"We just wanted to visit that blonde who got too comfortable with himself. But he's not here and I'm not surprised to be honest"

On the other end of the room, Todoroki tensed And spared Monoma a single glance and it was enough to prove whatever he thought. He knew about what happened at the hospital. But how? It was a story for another day.

"What are you talking about? What's your issue with Tommy?" Kirishima asked out loud, taking a step forward to match Monoma's stern look.

"Oh? He didn't tell you? What a shame, guess I will do the honors then" he smirked and then pointed at Todoroki who only felt his body tense when everyone seemed to turn their attention towards him. "Tommy and that two haired guy got into a fight. A pretty bad one from what I've heard. I'm surprised he's here by now"

Kirishima's eyes widened and he almost broke his neck by how fast he turned it to look at Todoroki who seemed to not be phased by the accuses. He simply looked at Monoma like he would look at any other, but in his eyes there was a glimpse of anger, if he was correct. But either way, he didn't deny any of it.

"What do you mean got into a fight?" Iida asked, eyes narrowed behind the glasses.

Monoma shook his head in disappointment, before raising his voice a little so everyone could hear him, including the students walking outside the classroom.

"I mean what I said. Apparently, Tommy attacked your friend over there after he wanted to talk to him. Fuck, he had the guts to do it right next to a hospital" he snickered in his hand, doing poor job at silencing it.
