If there was one thing about Quackity that everyone knew, it was that if he had a goal he wouldn't stop until he achieved it. This way, he was rich and had everything he needed. Many said that he was a selfish man, with no heart and his mind set on getting rich.
And despite having all the riches that were supposed to keep him happy, there was one thing he still hasn't gotten. And that was the truth. He wanted to know everything, every small detail and word that was written down in one damn book. Because that was all he needed to bring back his friend. He had to revive Tommy and it wasn't because he wanted to show Dream he had no power, which would be a good reason before the incident happened. But now? He didn't even care about what Dream would do. Or what he thought. All he cared about was bringing Tommy back to life because he for sure didn't deserve to die. Usually he tried to not get his hands dirty, that messed up his appearance and surely someone as rich as him had people to do it for him. But this time, he could care less. If torturing Dream would bring him any closer to finding out the truth, he was going to do it.
With or without Technoblade on his side and his help.
And if Dreamt made it harder than it was necessary, he wasn't going to play games. He only kept Dream alive so he could suffer, because he knew one thing Dream didn't expect.
It was obvious that Dream would share his knowledge with someone else. He was prepared, fearing the risk of losing his last life and then not being able to come back to life. There was no other option for him but to share the book with someone he knew that wouldn't betray him.And Quackity knew well who that was...
Because the moment he entered Dream's cell with Techno already inside, he smirked. Dream's face was scattered in scars, blood dripping down the side of his head and heavy breathing ripping from his chest. Technoblade stood over him with his axe resting against his leg, eyes staring right back at Dream with no emotions in them.
Quackity wasn't too sure if he should trust Technoblade or not in the end. Maybe he was helping them, but his history was speaking for itself. A betrayal is a big no. Cause of this, Quackity had to take matters in his own hands and make sure that Techno knew that betraying him wasn't a good option. Surely he didn't want to lose poor old Philza Minecraft."Dream" Quackity's voice was laced with sicking sweetness, something he picked up from Dream himself.
Dream's head slowly moved to face him, eyes barely opened as blood stained his face. All his strength was gone due to forcing his organism to stay awake. But the longer he did so, the more he felt like slipping into unconsciousness.
"Quackity... What a surprise to see you here" He mumbled, fighting with himself to open his eyes more.
Quackity looked down at him with disgust, taking few steps closer. With no hesitation, he brought his foot down and pressed it against Dream's shoulder. Sudden satisfaction washed over him, hearing the hiss of pain echoing through the silent room. He forced the prisoner to the ground, easily overpowering him and successfully keeping him in place.
"You wanna tell me something about the book? You know, maybe where it is" Quackity asked, his smile growing bigger when Dream struggled to look up at him.
It was hard to breath, speak or even move. And with Quackity's heavy netherite boot trapping him on the cold ground it was even harder to move an inch.
"I told you.. I burned it a long time ago" his voice cracked, at which Quackity pressed him harsher to the ground. "Ow-!"
"Stop lying you fucking snake. I know damn well you haven't burnt the book. You wouldn't do that, because we both know that if I killed you right now, you would be gone forever. You're not that stupid, are you?" Quackity asked, amusement in his eyes.
Dream shook his head, which in itself was harder than it appeared. But Quackity did not like that. He scoffed, his smile flattering a little.
"Use your words, Dream. Or are you scared?" He taunted him.
