Watching his students return half dead, exhausted and drenched in sweat filled him with satisfaction and perhaps a bit of pride. Their little adventure seemed to be full of surprises and joyful memories, one that would stick with them till the end of the training camp. And what was better than fighting with all kind of obstacles?
Aizawa watched them all gather, leaning against one another and groaning be it in pain or exhaustion, looking half asleep. Maybe he would feel bad, maybe not (they weren't Tommy and even if they were, he would still push them as far as they could go and then offer some comfort and support, he was a great father and teacher thank you very much.) Bakugou was one of a few that seemed to have enough strength to not complain about the training or he was just great at hiding his distaste. Todoroki, stoic as always, had his face covered in sweat and some dirt, much to Aizawa's amusement. Was he having fun seeing his class like this? Yes, yes he was. He couldn't just let them get lazy like that, it would be awful for him to do. Instead, he had a great plan and list of training for them all to do..

"Oh, you're finally here, meow!" Pixie-Bob called out, hands on her hips and a smile on her face.

Aizawa, along with Mandalay,  watched them from a distance, regarding them.

"That took some time" Mandalay said, clearly amused if the tone of her voice was anything to go by.

If Aizawa found it amusing how they dragged themselves towards their teachers, he did not voice it out loud. They looked like they went to hell and back, clothes wrinkled, skin dirty and all.

"What do you mean three hours?!" One of them wined, not all too happy about the situation.

"That's the time it would have taken us. Sorry!" Was the response Pixie-Bob gave them and it was clear it wasn't the one the students warned to hear. "But honestly, I thought it would take even longer. You guys didn't have as hard time beating my earth beast as I thought you would."

The praise was welcomed and well received, but not quite absorbed. Perhaps the exhaustion could their minds, too.

"I'm looking forward to where you will be in three years!" Pixie-Bob yelled, lunging at them with laws in the air. "I call dibs!'

As she jumped around a few of his students, Aizawa took a moment to turn around and pull out his phone, unlocking it only to see no new messages and no calls. He wasn't sure whether it was a good sign or a bad one. On one hand, it could mean that something happened to Tommy or maybe Hawks forgot to pick him up or maybe he has gotten hurt. On the other, it could also mean that he was fine and safe back at home. But if something did happen and Tommy was hurt..
Pushing those thoughts away, he shook his head but couldn't help but wonder if he should call either his son or Hawks. Glancing back at his class, who were pointing at the young kid he was introduced to earlier. A young boy with a water quirk, whose parents were heroes that were murdered by a villain. A tragic past, which left the child sore and not that open towards heroes.

"-oh, he is not one of ours. He is my cousin's kid" he heard Mandalay explain.

The moment Midoriya made his way over to the child, he knew something was bound to happen and quite frankly, it did. He raised his eyebrows, watching carefully how Midoriya leaned over and reached his hand out for the kid to take. Should have expected anything but returning the gesture.
Bringing his arm back, the kid took a quick swing and punched Midoriya in a very unfortunate place. Frozen in spot and obviously in pain, Midoriya paled and Kota simply walked away with no care in the world. If anything, the kid looked angry. Aizawa could understand that.

"I don't intent to hang out with guys who want to become heroes!" Kota said, throwing one last glare at the greenette before taking his leave.

It was the first day and yet Midoriya managed to make enemies with a kid much younger than him, which he would never believe would be possible. As always, his class was full of surprises.
