CHAPTER 71: THE TRUST

Scarianna Eleanor's POV

NOTHING. Yes, nothing happened last week. Because I didn't agree that we would do that when we knew to each other na may tatapusin pa kaming gusot na pwedeng makasira sa relasyon namin. Instead, we talked about something more important.

[Flashback...

"Vi.."

"What?!" Natawa ako sa kaiklian ng pasensya niya, "Why are you laughing? There's nothing funny right now, Scarianna Eleanor."

"Uhm... I think we're too early to do this, baby." Saglit na nanlaki ang mata niya at biglang nag-iwas ng tingin sa'kin dahil sa sinabi ko. Seryoso ako doon.

"I want to do this, when we're already a married couple," dagdag ko at tumingin ng diretso sa mga mata niya. Emosyonal akong tumingin at ngumiti sa kaniya, kasabay no'n ang mahigpit na pagyakap ko sa kaniya.

"I know something will happen after this, but don't worry, I will trust you no matter what. Your words are the only thing I will trust. The assurance you give me every day is enough, Vi. So don't be afraid that you might lose me because it won't happen. We're not going to lose each other, okay?" Dagdag ko. Dahil doon ay niyakap niya ako pabalik ng mahigpit at bigla na lang akong nakarinig ng hagulgol.

She looked weak even though I knew she wasn't being particularly showy about it. I also got the sense that while she was bossy and cold-hearted on the outside, she was unable to control herself when it came to displaying her softer side. She deserves assurance because even though she is the most powerful person on earth, the strongest person, and the bravest person, there is still have parts of her that require protection, love, and care, she deserves it. Her soft side exists solely for mine only.

Kumalas siya sa yakap and she softly looked at me. She gently touch my right cheeks and smiled sweetly at me.

"Thank you for your trust, and for giving me an assurance, Eli. I swear after this, ikaw naman ang aasikasuhin ko."

Nakaramdam ako pag-init ng pisngi dahil sa sinabi niya. Grabe naman 'to magpakilig, hays. Palibhasa alam niya kung paano ako makuha eh, hmp.

I smiled back.

"I will wait for you, my love."

"Peklat, saan ka magbabakasyon? Sama mo ako, ah? Hindi naman ako sasama magbakasyon sa pamilya ko dahil trabaho naman ang pupuntahan nila sa Canada." Biglang sabi ni Vecca sa kalagitnaan ng panonood namin ng intense scene.

Kasama ko kasi sila ngayon sa mansion at kasama rito sina Pauline at Channel. Kung ano-anong ginagawa namin dito since lahat kami wala namang ginagawa sa mga bahay namin, kaya inaya ko na lang silang tumambay nalang muna dito.

"Hoy, ako rin, samaaa! Ayaw ko sumama magbakasyon sa USA eh, mamimiss ko kayo!" Sang-ayon ni Jam. Nasa USA kasi halos lahat ng pamilya nito kaya kung saan man sila pwedeng magbakasyon, ay sa USA lang ang pinakaposible nilang puntahan since nandoon lahat ng family niya.
