Jake's alarm goes off at 7 am and he runs his fingers through his curls before rolling over on his stomach to turn it off. Getting up from the bed, he washes up and tiptoes across the hall to Devon's room, slowly turning the knob. Laughing to himself, he jumps up on the bed and plops down on it, rolling his eyes at the sound of his boyfriend's groaning.
"Dev, wake up." Jake gently shook him
"Go away, wheeler." Devon grumbled
"Come on, we have to go to class or we'll get in trouble." Jake pushed, aggressively shaking him in the process
"The weird emo kid cares about class? This has to be an alternate dimension or something." Devon frowned
"Ha ha, very funny. Come on, get up!" Jake pleaded
"What time is it?" Devon asked, rolling over on his back
"7 in the morning." Jake answered
"It's too early." Devon whined, pulling the blanket over his head
"You leave me no choice." Jake shrugged, taking his finger out of his mouth before inserting it into Devon's ear
"Ew, what the hell! That's not cool, Jake. That's seriously unhygienic!" Devon shouted, wiping the side of his face before pushing Jake off the bed
"Ow, why'd you do that?!" Jake squealed, rubbing his head
"Because you're insane." Devon whispered
"Will a cup of boba get me off the hook?" Jake smirked, watching his demeanor change
"How are you going to get me boba? We can't leave school grounds." Devon rubbed his sleepy eyes
"Don't worry, I got it covered." Jake patted his back
"Fine, just let me get dressed first." Devon caved
"I knew you'd come around, detective." Jake beamed, giving him a kiss on the cheek
"Yeah, yeah. Get out of here so I could get ready." Devon pushed him towards the door
10 minutes pass by and Devon finally comes out of his room, jumping at the sight of Jake standing in front of him with a cup of boba in his hand.
"Told you I'd come through." Jake shook the cup in his hand
"How?" Devon asked, taking a sip of his drink
"I asked nurse parks for a favor." Jake said
"Let's get something straight wheeler. If you ever wet Willie me again, there will be severe consequences." Devon poked him
"You're so cute when you're angry." Jake giggled
"Fine, you're off the hook." Devon answered after a long line of silence
"Have you heard from Lexy?" Jake asked, watching him shake his head back and forth
"Not since chemistry class yesterday, you?" Devon asked, watching his boyfriend mimick his answer
"We should probably go find her." Devon quickly says, grabbing Jake's wrist and dragging him down the halls
"What about class?" Jake asked
"Let's find Lexy first, then we'll worry about class." Devon sighed
After the words come out of his mouth, they turn the corner and hit the ground after someone runs into them. Groaning in pain, they open their eyes to see Lexy and Nadine staring right back at them.
"Before you ask, I was in detention and that place is a death trap." Lexy shivered
"Cinderella, can you let go of my hand?" Nadine asked, watching her eyes drift towards their interlocked fingers
