The next morning, Jake woke up to a cluttered mess in his dorm room. The girls were sleeping on the recliner and Devon was lying on his boyfriend's chest, sound asleep. Failing to hold back a smile, Jake reached out and stroked his cheek
"Mm, bother me when it's time to eat." Devon murmured
"Dev, get up. We have to clean this room up. It looks like a tornado went through it." Jake whispered
"Can't we do it later? I want to sleep." Devon whined
"Alright, fine. We still have to go to class, though." Jake whispers
"Oh my gosh, can't a man get one minute of peace around here?!" Devon thrashed around
"Good, you're up!" Jake kissed him on the lips
"You're insufferable." Devon rolled his eyes
"Yeah, but you love me anyways." Jake beamed
"Always have, always will." Devon tugged on his t-shirt, pulling him closer until their lips connected
Not long after, Lexy woke up and her wavy blonde hair was a disheveled mess. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she looks around the room and rolls her eyes once she saw her best friends making out again. Looking down at her girlfriend, she cracks a smile once she hears quiet snores coming from her
"Nadine, wake up." Lexy gently shook her
"Five more minutes." Nadine grumbling, snuggling her head into her neck
"Come on, kitten. We have to head back to our room." Lexy whispered, jumping back once her eyes shot open
"Kitten?" Nadine sat up
"Well, you seem to like that nickname." Lexy smiled
"Very much so." Nadine blushed, feeling around for her glasses
"I got you." Lexy grabbed her glasses, opening them up before putting them on her face
"Thank you. I can't see without my glasses." Nadine smiled
"I'm fully aware of that, Velma dinkly." Lexy kissed her cheek, bursting out in a fit of giggles once she saw her roommate blush
Once the girls said their goodbyes, they snuck out of Jake's room and headed downstairs, careful not to run into any authority figures
"You know, I think they're kind of cute together." Jake smiled
"Do you remember how flustered she used to get everytime she talked about her?" Devon says
"Yeah, and she pushed me into the stall for teasing her about it." Jake reminisced
"You two act like brother and sister, I swear." Devon wheezed
"Shut up!" Jake shoved him
"Hey, take it easy. I'm fragile." Devon threw his arms around him, laying his head on his chest while they hugged
"Go on, get out of here. I'll meet you downstairs." Jake kissed his forehead
"I love you." Devon kissed him back
"I love you more." Jake smiled
"Not possible." Devon winked, closing the door on his way out
Once they were finished getting ready, the core four meet up in the cafeteria and grab their choice of breakfast before joining Chasity and her gang at their table
"How did the party go last night?" Nessa asks
"Why don't you ask Beatrice and her goons? They're a bunch of conniving snakes!" Billy stabbed a hole through his paper plate
