Nessa had just finished breakfast 15 minutes ago and was lying in bed. She checked her phone to see 4 missed calls from her brother and 6 text messages from Chasity. Jumping up from the bed, she rushed to the bathroom and leaned over the toilet, vomiting up the breakfast her mother had made for her earlier

"Mom, I'm not in the mood." Nessa groaned, listening to her mother's heavy footsteps grow closer

"It's happening again? Sweetheart, I could've put your food aside for later. Don't force yourself to eat if you're not feeling up to it." Justine kneeled down to hold her hair back

"I'm really sorry, mom." Nessa heaved

"It's alright, the doctors warned me this would happen. It's perfectly normal, I'm not upset." Justine kissed her forehead

"I can't keep food down, I try my best, but I can't do it." Nessa cried

"It's alright. How about I whip you up some chicken noodle soup with a cup of ginger ale? Would you like that?" Justine says

"Yes, but keep the garbage can beside me just in case." Nessa held onto her mother, her knees growing wobbly once she stood up

"Okay, go back in your room and lie down, I'll put your soup on the stove in a second." Justine kissed her forehead

"Thanks, mom." Nessa smiled

Meanwhile, at Incarnate Lord

"Have either of you heard anything?" Nadine asks, snatching the phone she smuggled out of Jazz's hands

"No, nothing yet." Chasity sighed, tugging on her hair in frustration

"She's probably back in that stage again." Jazz whispered

"You know I have to be nosy, what stage?" Devon intervened

"Nessa has days where she's really depressed, so she doesn't eat, she sleeps a lot, and she refuses to take her medication." Jazz explains

"A majority of the time, she throws up everything she eats. According to her doctor, that's normal." Chasity finished

"I hope she'll be alright." Jazz played with his fingernails

"She'll be fine, I know she will." Chasity comforted him

Sister Ruth came up to them, giving them a look they knew all too well

"Shouldn't you kids be heading to class by now?" Sister Ruth asks

"Shouldn't you be married by now?" Billy asks

"Mr Young, do not make me report you to father Bryce. He's not as nice as I am." Sister Ruth shrieked

"Go right ahead, pippi longstocking. We all know you love kissing up to him anyways." Billy says

"I will not tolerate this attitude of yours." Sister Ruth scoffed

"You could just walk away. That's when you put one foot in front of the other and head off in a different direction. Would you like me to demonstrate?" Billy traced his fingers over his bottom lip

"Get to class now!" Sister Ruth shouts, stomping off

"Bite me!" Billy shouts

Jazz stood in front of Billy, placing his hands on his shoulders to calm him down

"Billy, stop it! They already took my sister away, I'll lose my mind if they take you, too." Jazz sighs

"I'm sorry. You know authority gets under my skin." Billy pouts
