The next morning, Jazz woke up and the smell of food overwhelmed him. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he sits up in the bed and locks eyes with Billy, who was sitting on the edge of the bed with a Styrofoam plate in his hand. Much to his surprise, Jazmere wasn't upset. He was so thrilled to see him that he leapt out of bed and hugged Billy tightly, burying his face into the crook of his neck, before giving him a peck on the cheek

"Good morning to you, too." Billy blushed

"Where were you last night? I missed you." Jazz shyly admitted

"I went over to Devon's for some friendly advice. Afterwards, I took a lap around the school. I needed to clear my mind." Billy says

"Something smells good." Jazz smiled

"My grandmother made you another plate. This time, it's a four cheese omelette with a blob of sour cream and two slices of toast." Billy handed him the food

"Are you doing okay?" Jazz asks

"Yeah, I'm just tired. With all the homework they've been piling on us lately, it's been impossible for me to get any rest." Billy lied

"Lie down with me." Jazz says, placing his food on the nightstand before patting the empty spot next to him on the bed

"Your breakfast will get cold by then." Billy smiled

"Nothing a microwave can't fix." Jazz shrugged

Billy lied down beside Jazmere, who grabbed his arm and wrapped it around his waist. Once the boys grew comfortable in each other's presence, they tangled themselves up in the sheets. Billy drew Jazmere closer to him, giving him a soft kiss on his forehead and snuggling his head into his neck, intently listening to his steady heartbeat

"What are you thinking about right now?" Billy asks

"I always wondered why you love listening to my heartbeat." Jazz whispered softly, running his fingers through his roommate's shaggy brown hair

"I don't know. It calms my nerves, I guess." Billy says

"Really?" Jazz giggled

"You think it's silly." Billy sulked

"No, that's not true. I love it when you lie your head on my chest. It gives me a sense of stability." Jazz says

"Really?" Billy smiled

"Yes, really. If it were up to me, I'd lie in this bed with for all eternity." Jazz hummed

"I love you, Jazz." Billy muttered, slowly interlacing their fingers before falling asleep moments later

"I love you too, Billy." Jazz whispers, kissing his temple before dozing off in his warm embrace

While the boys were getting some much needed rest, Devon was in his room studying for an upcoming history test while listening to Ariana Grande's song, 'Love Language'. He was so preoccupied with the music that he failed to notice that his door was wide open, which led to a familiar figure entering his room. Tiptoeing towards Devon's desk, the lenient figure calls out his name, making him shriek. As soon as they noticed Devon wasn't laughing, their laughter ceased

"Danny, what the fuck!" Devon yelled

"Mr Evans, such language is prohibited on school grounds." Danny mimicked Father Bryce, watching his friend crack a smile at his impressive impersonation

"You're not funny." Devon playfully rolled his eyes

"Really? That smile on your face says otherwise." Danny teased him
