It was 3 am and Lexy woke up with a start after someone shook her out of her slumber. Turning on the lamp, she locks eyes with Billy, who gave her an apologetic smile. Looking at him in shock, Lexy opens her mouth to scream, but he had already placed his hand over her mouth to prevent her from causing a scene
"Don't scream, I need your help." Billy uncovered her mouth
"What are you doing in here?! You do realize this is the girl's dorms, right?" Lexy questioned
"It's about Tyler." Billy interrupted her
"What about him?" Lexy wiped the sleep from her eyes
"He said some things about Tori's brother and father Bryce wants me to stay out of it, but I can't. I know he's been messing with Nadine, too. I know you want revenge just as badly as I do." Billy fumbled with his fingers
"Are you suggesting we work together?" Lexy raised an eyebrow
"This might be the adrenaline talking, but sure!" Billy exclaimed
"How'd you get up here anyway? You can't just waltz up the stairs." Lexy grumbled
"I like doing things the old fashioned way." Billy opened the window before shimmying down the pipe
"Man, I thought Jake was weird." Lexy muttered, turning off the lamp and going back to sleep
The next morning, the boys burst into Lexy and Nadine's dorm room and bum rush them
"Lexy, wake up! Devon wants food and if he doesn't get it, I guarantee you he'll bite someone's arm off." Jake shook her awake
"If you don't stop shaking me, I'll chop off those hands with a cleaver!" Lexy shouted, watching Jake jump into Devon's arms
"Someone's not a morning person." Jake murmured
"Devon, you have a mouth. It'd be nice for you to speak up once in a while instead of having your weird boyfriend do it for you." Lexy's eyebrows furrowed
"Oh, no she didn't." Devon snapped his fingers
"Oh, yes I did." Lexy threw the covers on the bed
Nadine decided to get in the middle before the argument escalated any further
"Please excuse Lexy's behavior, I don't think she got a full 8 hours of sleep. It seems to be affecting her, so she's a bit cranky." Nadine sheepishly smiled
"Well, that's obvious." Devon murmured
"We'll be down in a second, save our seats." Nadine smiled, gently pushing them out the room before turning around to face her roommate
"Please don't start lecturing me, it's too early in the morning." Lexy rubbed her head
"What's going on?" Nadine's tone filled with worry
"I probably have insomnia, I don't know." Lexy whined
"Some breakfast oughta perk you up!" Nadine squealed
"I don't understand how you're always chipper in the morning." Lexy giggled
"You know what Annie says, you're never fully dressed without a smile!" Nadine cheesed, skipping over to her bed
"Okay, that was kind of cute." Lexy pouted
After the girls finish getting ready, they grab their choice of breakfast and sit down at their table, where a British boy kept staring at Lexy
"Simon, look elsewhere. She's taken!" Nadine snapped him out of his funk
"Relax, love. I already have a type and I can assure you, blondes aren't on my list." Simon winked
